I thought Bison was the guy in red.

Just a Question, Why did you say "Mike Bison"? If you are talking about the boxer, it's Balrog.
The guy in the red, the Shadaloo leader is MASTER Bison. Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max points that out.
My Hyper Tornado is as good as Tetsumaki Shempyuken, but I can't get in?

Cuz Balrog is M.Bison in japan, And Mike Bison is what he was called, not master bison XD

MMMMMMMMMMHHHHH so many mistakes here....

   JAPAN                                           U.S.A.

Vega (Dictator)                                 M.Bison

Balrog (Spanish fighter)                      Vega

Mike Bison (Boxer)                             Balrog

The names were changed for the Mike Bison/Mike Tyson problem...

Well, just call him M.Bison like I do. Sure he's known as Vega in Japan, but M.Bison is his name when I was growing up, so in my eyes, he's M.Bison. And in my Opinion, M.Bison suits him more than Vega.

Agreed.  It may be more "proper" to go with boxer and dictator, but everyone I talk to knows who I'm referring to when I say M. Bison etc.

On a slight side note, I thought it was interesting that this japanese mod site for Street Fighter IV refers to the characters as their American names.  Perhaps the westerners aren't the only ones who think the translated names fit better:

pretty sure the mod site is keeping the  original name used by the moders.

Yeah that. The japanese text still has the Japanese names. They simply copy-pasted the descriptions that the moders wrote and it's probably because they don't even know what it says to begin with. So yeah, saying even the Japanese people think your westerner name fits better sounds really damn stupid and horribly presumptuous.

I genuinely agree with you there actually, as I generally do use the generic names on the internet myself.  Being the "really damn stupid and horribly presumptuous" American that I am, I was referring to when talking offline in my above comment.

As for the Japanese site / English modder confusion: Despite what it says in the Japanese text, I simply thought it was interesting they had the translated US names up in English. But thanks for clearing it up.

Oh, and my last comment regarding westerners was in jest.  And while that may be obvious to most people, I knew someone with a massive inferiority complex would attempt to scold me in similar fashion.  But it's okay Byakko; you can pull your massively swelled head out of your loose ass now.  ;)

I take it you did not like it when I said that your comment sounded stupid etc. So is it my fault if your comment sounded stupid like that ? Or did you think I said "you're really damn stupid" ? No, I said "saying this comment sounds really damn stupid". do you agree or disagree that such a comment sounds really damn stupid ? I'm not asking you if you're stupid, I'm asking if the comment sounds stupid. If you came across such a comment, would you not think it sounds horribly presumptuous to say "even them think our names fit better" ? So, jest or not, the comment sounds really damn stupid, and you saying it was a simple blunder or slip (let's call it that way). Not getting the difference and taking it personally raises your stupidity level.
In other words, fuck you too.
