sometimes spoilered stuff ( be it pics or text) when clicked on, wont expand totally, but usually gets fixed with a refresh. ( as long as we are talking about spoilers)

i find spoilers a good replacement for parenthesis, especially when I want to make a note about something that is not quite related to the main theme of the text. I tend to digress a lot, and spoiling those "not so much related" parts are a good way of showing the reader that the spoiled part ain't exactly part of the discussion (but is related on a way).

example: on the GLC gameplay thread i spoiled the part that had to do with the gameplay characteristics of the other corps.  inside that spoiler, i made a small note how the Red lanterns gameplay would not be too different from the gameplay we are used to on regular fighting games. that note, than ended up on a paragraph itself, would be spoiled, even if the original text it was was spoiled on the first place.

as I said when this came out before, there are forums in which having nested spoilers is very useful and I frequent those forums, but this forum does not seem to be the case; normaly on these forums we talk about stuff that can well, be spoiled.
