Bump, but with meaning.

I'm now taking suggestion for character design ideas. Here's the current roster of the characters that I know that will be in:

Mega Man
Proto Man
Roll
Bass
Volnutt
Tron Bonne
Zero
Aila
Axl
Glide

I know that I should do this myself, but hearing other ideas may give me some inspiration.

Poll opened:

Option 1: Tech Hit- Tech Hit is a move in Street Fighter 3 that is performed when forward is pressed when an attack connects. This counter system is quick and the opponent is stuck in the attack animation until it is over, which allows for a counterattack, however, it's hard to pull off due to the fact that the player must have good timing.

Option 2: Guard Blowback- Guard Blowback, or Advancing guard, is a move in the Marvel vs. Capcom Series that involves pressing the forward button while the opponent is attacking your blocking character. This move is easier to perform, however, the opponent is pushed backed, meaning that the opponent can block your attack if he/she wants.

Option 3: Just Defense- Just Defense is a move that is performed by blocking before an attack. This move has properties of Tech Hit and Guard Blowback. Like Tech Hit, it requires good timing, and like Guard Blowback, it pushes the opponent back, however, this move can put the opponent in hitstun for 3 second.

Option 4: Other.

I was going to start doing that today lol. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Anyways:


Alia will be my main focus cause spriting her attack is fucking fun. I may make more a couple of more bases, but I'm not sure yet.

Alia's Information:

Stats:
Hp: 820
Attack: 90
Defense: 70
Destiny Aura: 3
Destiny Drive: 2

Playstyle:
Alia will revolve around hand to hand combat. All of her attacks, even the projectile based ones, can be used during a melee. She has many useful moves for tricks like mixups, such as one of her projectile based moves, which is a close up overhead special attack without the projectile. She has a few drawbacks, however, like her lack of range in her attack, low priority projectiles, and lack of Hp. She also uses a lot of meter in her combos, so the lack of Destiny Aura and Destiny Drive is a major setback for making long combos. Her high attack balances that out. Her combos are also very flashy and cool. All and all, she'll be a good character for intermediate players.

Moveset:
Destiny Drive:
DD- Alia Strike Mode: Alia goes into a fighting pose and does an attack. The attack differs with the command input. Uses 1/2 of the Destiny Drive meter.
DD During Alia Strike Mode- Alia Uppercut: Alia performs a powerful upper that semi launches the opponent. Good follow up move. Uses 1 of the Destiny Drive Meter.
DD+F During Alia Strike Mode- Alia Hammer: Alia does a double axe handle that knocks the opponent away. Uses 1 of the Destiny Drive Meter.
DD+B During Alia Strike Mode- Alia Toss: Alia grabs and throws the opponent away. Command throw. Uses 1 1/2 of the Destiny Drive Meter

Command Moves:
F+L- Cheap Punch: A very weak punch that can be used to continue B&B combos.
DF+M- Uppercut: Alia performs a weaker variation of her Aila Uppercut.
DB+M- Backhand: Similar to Cammy's, but can be used for ground chains.
B+H- Spinning Elbow: Alia performs a spinning elbow that hit in the middle similar to a crouch attack.

Specials:
QCF+LMH- Triple Alia Blade: Alia performs 3 kicks. Good ground combo finisher. Destiny EX Version- 5 kicks rather than 3.
QCB+Any- Alia Buster: Alia fires a small projectile from an arm cannon. This may not be good for projectile warfare, but its pushback is useful for following up an hyper.
HCF+H- Alia Cutter: Alia perform an axe kick, creating a large blade projectile. Not good for projectile warfare, but the projectile is good for juggling and the kick is a good overhead.
DBF+M- Rising Alia Blade: Alia performs a jumping crescent kick. Good anti air. Destiny Ex version- More hits and an extra kick. Ex version- More hits.
ChargeBF+L- Alia Strike: Alia charges while being surrounded in energy. Similar to M. Bison's Psycho Crusher, but weaker. 

Supers:
Lvl 1
HCFx2+Any: Alia Hurricane: Alia performs an Hurricarana on the opponent. Command Grab that sets up for combos.

Lvl 3
ChargeBF+BF+Any+DD: Final Alia Strike: A more powerful version of Alia Strike

Zero's done. I think that it needs a bit less bulky, but I like the design.

I'll make another base and get back to animations.

I made two sprites that I need crit on, but that would involve spoiling two characters. Anyone want to be spoiled to help me?
