I think I'll just watch this movie instead of Sonic. His design may be fixed but the rest of the movie may as well be either boring or just outright crap for all we know.

That was part of the whole appeal to me.

Regarding the SpongeBob Movie: I was gonna pre-emptively complain about how much I miss the good ol' days of 2D animation, but I actually quite like the style they're using. Kind of a weird premise, though. They done did a missing snail episode in the series, so I am curious as to why they'd settle on that for an entire movie.

Well, Nickelodeon has done repeats of episodes before (quite a bit of them, actually). I think the animation is a bit from the last movie (where they go into our world), but I think they're using it much better here. I'm kind of glad the theory of Camp Coral was debunked as to where it's just Spongebob and Gary meet instead of Spongebob meets everyone at camp for some reason (yes, I believe stupid stuff sometimes).

This left many in speculation as to what the fate of The New Mutants is. After all, the film was left on the shelf for 2 years and had many rumored reshoots that were supposedly going to the change the tone of the film. Since then, it's been revealed that the film to be released is the same one that director Josh Boone originally envisioned. The film is to be released by Disney, which means that it could easily be tied into the MCU, but that no longer appears to be the case.

The heads of the MCU are trying their best to integrate the Fox Marvel properties with Disney's MCU, but it turns out that The New Mutants won't be the one to signal the amalgamation. The New Mutants still won't be released for another four months, which means that the heads of the MCU and Disney still have time to figure out if they want the newer, spooky heroes to join the ever-expanding MCU.

I feel like this was made by comity by a bunch of suites who saw that Adventure time was successful, but don't understand why adventure time was successful.

The awesome anime-inspired remake only got one season, but this crap will probably go on for six.

Why is it trying to ape O.K. K.O.'s trading card theme?  That's really out of left field.  Doesn't have much to do with ThunderCats and I thought O.K. K.O. under-performed by their standards, it would be odd to attempt another go with it on a show that off the bat no one liked the premise of.  I guess just to be 80's enough?  I dunno.

All the previously said hate, like, a year or two now in this show's radio silence, more-or-less still applies, there doesn't seem to be any changes in course made and I doubt there will be.  If kids enjoy it, more power to them, whatever.  It's just another Teen Titans Go, not the worst thing in the world but such a migraine to even acknowledge is the direction they're taking.  Better to give the attention to their new shows that are actually really good.

Like ones that perform Mortal Kombat fatalities on Blade Runners.

Marvel (mostly MCU) is considered for kids according to Youtube. Find a random video with Capt. America, Iron Man or Hulk in the title chances are it will have it's comments disabled.

I believe all you have to do in order to restore the comments is to go into video settings and label the video as "not made for kids." This applies to pretty much all the other videos YouTube set to "made for kids" as well.
