Smooth animation but her lower half seems too wide while her top half shrinks, especially her head.

The head shrinking is an issue in a lot of the jumping animations a page back as well. Though I only see the torso shrinkage in the above win pose. You are doing a very good job. I'm not too familiar with all the characters from Rival Schools/Project Justice, though it is nice to see more represation being realized from it.

Chuchoryu's work is hit or miss, though I do believe some of his later works need refinement but provide a solid enough base. As is evident by what you're doing now with Akira here. I remember his Juri being pretty solid as well. At any rate, good work.

yeah I notice it now that Im looking at it again, I'll try to see if I can make the head bigger and still looks good.

And yeah, Chucho's Juri is the best char he had made, even if it has some inconsistent or unfinished shading, honestly of all his chars the other one I want to make beside Akira is Rashid.

Chucho's characters always had stiff animations. Glad to see someone going out of their way to spice them up.

Good job with Akira. Maybe that strand of hair needs more swinging in some of its previous movements.

Also, I hope you haven't given up on El Gado. You had a sprite sheet that was quite advanced and solid enough to let it go. Even though it is a minor char but worth adding to any CAPCOM rooster.

Your strengths are spriting and pixel editing, so keep that cool stuff coming.  :thumbsup:

I like El Gado, I feel like he should have his chance like Poison or Hugo had (his lore is that he was a Guerrilla soldier from Cuba, and went to work for Rolento, but if Im correct Rolento killed his friends and family, so he's planning to kill him from the shadows, that is a really interesting concept)

But the char itself... honestly I started to get tired of him, and unlike Akira, he doens't look that good or fun to work with.

I don't want to abandon the idea, but I'll probably restart it with better animations.

No, its one of her winning animations.

In SFV She has just two, but I decided to pic one of them and separate it in two, her actual winning animation in SFV looks something like this:



Also, her taunt will be just her punching her hands together.

You deserve to be proud of this one, it did turn out great. No head shrinkage and her torso is well shaped and proportionate to her lower body. Great job. I do want to note though: I think Roach mentioned this or at least hinted at the shading on her lower half. Namely the guards on her legs. Though it looks to me her entire lower half is affected by sort of flat shading/definition.

I'm not sure though I am sure someone will correct me on the term: Her lower half looks "Pillow Shaded"(?). Are the guards on her pants supposed to be metal? The shading sort of implies it, though once again, falls flat. I would suggest looking at the plates on CvS M.Bison's pants to get a feel for the shading with metal in this regard. I know you're focused on animations right now and I don't won't to deter you. It's just something I noticed and want to bring to your attention. It's something you could possibly focus on after finishing her animations.

I did some stuff during this time when the forums where down:

First, Im working in both her running animation and one of her specials, Senshubu:



And one animation I finished was her other special, Hotenshu:



now, the shading in her metal parts are different in this one, that's because Felo helped me with some tweaks to make her look better, I'll do the changes once I put all the sprites into a spritesheet, so the final product would look like this:
