Hi to everybody! my english isnt very good, german i looked many hours in this forum for answers, but i didnt found them (maybe my english wasnt good enough, maybe i didnt saw them, exept that, please help me! )i got 2 questions to this forum!!!question 1 is about characters:do they exist so far???1. cyberdemon (DOOM)2. blade (vampire hunter, marvel)3. pinhead (hellraiser)4. chucky (chucky)5. leatherface (texas chainsaw massacre)6. rancor (star wars)7. adam west (re-animator)2. question:is it posible to put the characters from "terrordrome" to mugen??? if "yes" how???!thanks for answers!!! exept that, your forum rules! its the best forum i found on the internet about mugen!!!
A decent cyberdemon exists in the "Super Keen Fighter" mugen game.found here http://spatang.com/nickssoftware/skf4.htmput all requests in the Requests section , there is a thread called Does this thing exist? at the top, you can ask about the chars there.I think there is a chucky too! I don't remember where I saw it.2: Yes it is. you can rip the sprites and make them like any other char. BUT, the makers of that game asked for sprites not to be used, so if you DO make one you'll get some people upset.
I think he meant grab and place the terror drome characters aand put them into mugen rather than making them
whoops LOL. in that case i know rominucka made Freddy a really long time ago. might still be up somewhere.
lets GUESS i want to put the terrordrome characters into mugen, how could i do that?! the character in terrordrome has 1 file called "Leatherface.player". if i WOULD put that file into the char-file from mugen and add the name into "select" it doesnt work! what WOULD i do wrong?
It would not work at all. Terrordrome was created using an engine called Fighter Maker, which has nothing to do with Mugen. Both engines are not compatible AT ALL.If you want to put Terrordrome chars in Mugen, you would basically have to recreate them from scratch (do all the coding) after having ripped the sprites from the Terrordrome game.
ok, i respect that, but is there any alternative to get (not the ones from terrordrome, others) pinnhead, chucky adam west, jason voorhees or leatherface??
There's an alternative: create yourself the sprites. You can recreate terrordrome and the other chars you said editing sprites from existing characters and then you can put in MUGEN without problems
i know that i could do them by myself, but my question is, have you seen them anywhere? i postet the players in the "does this thing exist" topic, too
arrogant smiley man said, June 09, 2010, 07:18:39 amwhoops LOL. in that case i know rominucka made Freddy a really long time ago. might still be up somewhere. Here's one, edited from KOF's k9999 (originally made by Mr. Zero). Another character is Ash Williams by The Pizzaman and TonyADV (http://www.mugenation.com/). Both are free adaptations of these characters and don't have the same gameplay and moves than Terrordrome counterparts
thank you but i already got freddy and ash (not from terrordrome, my freddy looks a little bit like claws from street fighter), but i am looking for1. jason voorhees (friday the 13th)2. blade (vampire hunter, marvel)3. pinhead (hellraiser)4. leatherface (texas chainsaw massacre)5. rancor (star wars)6. adam west (re-animator)
there are none that are worth anybody's time??is my english too bad or do you really say that blade the vampire hunter or pinhead from the hellraiser movies are not good enough to spend time on them??????
Yeah, basically because horror movie characters don't go well in regular fighting games (apart from Blade maybe). Terrordrome works because it's a crossover between all horror movie characters. Also, by now you should have understood that if you want these characters so much, then you will have to create them yourself. But yeah, walt would argue : what's the point ? To get Blade, take Setsuna from Last Blade, and headswap him with Balrog (boxer), and you're done.
"there are no mugen creations for those characters, and if there are, probably they're not worth your time"The good edits always stand out, one ends up finding out about the good ones, but I'm pretty sure I haven't seen or heard about any of those characters, and like everybody already said, Terrordrome creators are making a terrific effort to bring all of these horror film characters in a full game, I support their plea to respect their hard earned fan made materials.
