Rumors..about a new XB are coming and going since at least 2 years..i see them from time to time on various gameing sites i visit. Microsoft should first build up some new IP`s for their System which would be successful trademarks for their next console as well. This year i saw nothing spectacular and exclusive yet for the XB..the console gets Gears of War 3..but what beside that title? Am i just misonformed or are there really no exclusive platformer, racing games, fighting games, RPG`s coming for the XB this year or are they just not announced yet?
I hope they find a way to fix how much energy their consumes. My electric bill went up $40 because of my 360.
But um...yeah. A new xb console would be lovely.The baby boomers 360s are getting old and are needing more maintenance and support to live independantly work.On the topic of console exclusives; there hasn't been a single console exclusive release for 360 or PS3 that has piqued my interests in many years. Most important games release for everyone.Game exclusivity isn't the driving force that it was in the PS1 era. It certainly doesn't sell consoles anymore.
Kinect was released last year, so I don't see they releasing a new XBOX until 2013, to make the most use of the Kinect plataform.Funny, though, as I expect the Wii successor around that time too.

Actually, I'd go as far as to say ^ is the closest to reality. So much untapped potential yet to be discovered with Kinect.
Hopefully someone will let me know when it involves more than petting imaginary tigers and playing table tennis with your hands.
