Finish your damn characters, Chuchoryu! Stop releasing these betas and actually finish something first before moving on to another character!Sorry if this comes off as mean, but it just needs to be said.

SMH.....
I prefer to wait a character 5 months or 1 year but in the end it will be completesorry for my bad english
... when i read the title, i think it was about an update of the very old Yusuke by Pockefreeman...2 bad but nice release
Sire Hyogo said, February 06, 2014, 06:50:18 pmWe've been saying that for months and months and it still doesn't seem to sink in to his mind. Then you guys should stop harping on it!Chuchoryu wishes to make and release characters this way. All this whining and belly-aching isn't going to change that; all it does is lead to derails and arguments. You guys have made your views on this crystal clear, it's now time to let it go.
I know most of them made it sound quite bad (I would've picked a better way to say what they said here) but it is expected to get this kind of reaction when you release characters in such state all the time Besides, maybe he didn't even realize yet what they've been telling him over and over, you know how good he is at English lol. He's not going to change, but that doesn't mean it gives him a shield against common criticism.
It's definitely no shield, if you make a topic here you open yourself up for criticism (unless you lock it or something). But complaining of rushing releases over and over is of no help to anyone; giving out actual feedback (and not being a dick about it) to help the author improve is. But people don't seem to be all that inclined to do that much for these releases anymore, since Chuchoryu hasn't expressed much interest in following any of it. And that of course is his right, so we've wound up in this situation.
As expected from a choryu thread though, it's the same cycle every time. We learn to ignore the regular ol' shhhhpiel Will download and test, feedback later

I normally find it fair to give out some kind criticism to start out with, and if the person starts taking it, continue doing it gently. But if they're constantly disregarding criticism, then it's accustomed to get tough in order to intimidate the person into working harder.

Remember that most of the people here (excluding those who take commission work) are not being paid to do this. It's a hobby, not a job. It's not your responsibility to intimidate anyone here into doing anything. If he wants to release straight up DOO DOO for all it's worth, that's his prerogative.

But still, it's just a form of trying to help the person out. Call it tough love if you will. By using intimidation, it often shows someone an uncomfortable feeling people do not like to carry around, so it helps them drive to improve to relieve them of this feeling. ...I should mention it could have an opposite effect, though. It could also usher the person into being aggressive and defensive, in order to never improve on his work. This, however, is caused by a general stubbornness. Still, at times people do learn to accept that they're not well liked because of the responses, and do learn to improve.

Tough love? It's MUGEN, c'mon. If Chuchoryu is fine with how his characters are, then leave it at that. Don't try and bully him into something.
How am I pushing my luck by telling it like it is? If he chooses to continue releasing crap, it's his problem that people will choose to continue hating his crap. I don't see how trying to help him any way can, even if it comes off as mean, is a bad thing. The way you guys are saying it feels like you actually WANT him to continue producing crap, which will NOT encourage him to improve at all.
If he wants to continue producing things the same way that he currently does, then that is his choice, and no amount of whinging will change that. You're treating this like he needs an intervention or something. Unless you have specific, constructive feedback for him then you shouldn't continue to try and egg him on. This derail has gone on long enough.
