After many reworks of her look I think I've finally got the Z2 style down. Currently in the process of converting all the animations I've done to look like her new base. Anyway, all of her attacks have been planned out. May need assistance with some ideas for intros/outros though. More too come soon!
The perfect "Gouki" character. Hell hath no fury like a Mother's Scorn!"WHERE"S MY BABY?!!" - Chi-Chi TFS.Seriously, very amazing spritework bud. I can't wait to see what else you have in store.
You need 3-ish completed animations before you can consider this a sprite project. Once you get there you or a mod can move the thread back
Her arm in that running frame seems to have a pretty weird curve in the middle, but it's still a pretty good sprite. Out of curiosity, are you making these with the use of bases or is this being done from scratch?
Running animation. I need to add the Power Pole's carrying case and tweak the Bansho fan alignment a little. Other than that I'm happy with it.

Out of curiosity, are you making these with the use of bases or is this being done from scratch? The bases are all sketched out by hand, then sprited by me. However, many characters are studied for animating hair, chest, clothing, etc. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by a weird curve. Could you be more specific? Thanks. Billy Kane? No. She shares many animations inspired by other characters but none from Billy Kane. I purposely wanted to keep the two separated as I felt that was the easy way out.
Well, keep at it, I want to see where you go with this. And if you need help figuring out where to go feel free to pm me.
This is awesome. I love that Z2 is becoming such a community project, even if some projects aren't yet considered "official".I love that you've chosen a more obscure, for lack of a better word, character to adapt. I also love the outfit you've chosen for her. If I may, and I realize this is a palette issue, but I think you could do with a bit more contrast in your shades, especially the darkest ones. Z2, from what I've seen has some pretty distinct lines. Again, it's a palette issue, but Z2's distinct contrast does really help define the style. In her running animation, I think she could do with a bit of arm movement. HQ is very good about identifying where motion could be more fluid, I'd be curious to see what he thinks in that regard.Anyway, good luck with your project. It looks great, so far.

I can find loose dark pixels far easier this way. After seeing the run animation fully animated, I've considered a bit more arm movement myself. However, it will remain as is for now. Thank you for the support, everyone!

Her Standing block and first frame of her Z-Counter. I'll be adding a transition frame from Standing to Block State.
The front leg shouldn't go so far forward, and the torso shouldn't sink so low in the middle of the movement. You should make the steps shorter, so she retains her momentum through the full motion.

Also, The front leg of the 7th frame has been pulled back so she will take smaller steps. *Test-3 has the 'middle frame added back in but with less leg extension.
You've got some good progress going here. Could just be me, but it seem like the 3rd test .gif is missing a frame, kinda making it look a bit jerky. Might wanna add one more frame to make the transtition flow more smoothly.
