are you basically saying lilith is a better character because she is flat chested

From what I got in the post it's more like she's actually likeable and she resembles someone you can relate to much more than Morrigan, who is usually overly exaggerated (to the point of disgust) with her character traits.

  • Seize the coveted miracle in the game of death.
How about NO KEN in Capcom Fighting Jam or TvC? Ken should always be the SF rep in crossover games.

No to mention that you have to unlock him in MvC2. Screw Zangief.

I'm the only person in the world who actually likes Zangief in that game... dude has high damage output with his grabs and short combos plus his 623+K anti air grab can be used as a way to move a lot faster (also the HK into LK anti air grab is an inescapable reset which is pretty cool), Zangief/Tron/Sentinel team synergy best team!

...yeah I'm aware he's not a great character in that game but I just don't think he's bottom tier, mid tier probably.

MvC2 is a glorified MUGEN compilation.

That's a weird way of saying Capcom Fighting Jam...

I should do CFJ too if only for the novelty

Capcom Fighting Jam
-------------------------------
Yes: Capcom actually remembering Red Earth, Demitri, Enya as a midnight bliss anim, Rose becoming even more of a freakin ripoff of Lisa Lisa, Ingrid before Capcom got silly with her
No: Jon Talbain and Dante relegated to ending only cameos, the fact that CF All Stars was cancelled because the playtesters were a bunch of whingy hipster cunts that went WAHWAHWAHTHREEDEE and got it cancelled, then Ono got involved and farted this thing out in like a month or however long it takes to slap a mugen compilation together

Castlevania Judgment
-----------------------------
Yes: Playable Dracula, playable Death, Cornell
No: Carmilla's redesign from "halfway prim and proper" to "generic slut" Dracula's udders, the Soul Calibur wannabe aesthetic, Maria becoming Taokaka Vermillion, turning Eric Lecarde into Carl Clover for no reason, no playable Johnny Morris from Bloodlines, the character designs in general
There was a sig here. Its gone now (thanks photobucket ya fecks)

You think no playable Johnny Morris is bad, but actually, no playable Richter and Sonia Belmont is bad.
I want my CV Judgment remix of Divine Bloodlines and some acknowledgement to Castlevania Legends already, dammit!

May as well throw in my 2 cents.

Super Smash Bros for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS

Yes: Wii Fit Trainer, Duck Hunt(Duo), Shulk
I love wildcards in games and it's always interesting to see how Sakurai and team manage to take someone who you wouldn't expect to be a fighter and give them an legitimate moveset.

More Xenoblade is always good and helps people realise how good the game is. (Then again, I'm biased because i love RPGs but meh)

No: Obligatory "Clones".

How come Lucina ,Dr.Mario and Dark Pit got to be separate characters but Alph had to be a costume? They could of given him different Pikmin to use and everything?

Pokken Tournament

Yes: Chandelure, Suicune, Weavile

Again,i love wildcards. Also i love to think of Harada being given a list of all 721 Pokemon, seeing the ghost chandelier and going "Yes. Put this fucker in my fighting game"

Suicune and Weavile are legitimate surprises as Suicune hasn't been relevant since what, Crystal? And Weavile is relatively ignored (at least Machamp is having some kind of Japanese fad thing going for it recently).

No: Pikachu Lucha

Why not just add Hawlucha? Hell, being a Lucha fighter is its entire gimmick. Luchachu is just a cosplayer. (Again, I'm biased towards Hawlucha because it's one of my favourite mons)

Wait, a whole character space is seriously dedicated to Pikachu dressed as a wrestler? You have freaking got to be kidding me... Rosters these days...

Yeah! I remember the gold ol' days of two Wolverines, headswaps with minor differences or Model swaps with minor move property differences! So much better then a separate Pikachu with a completely different moveset!

While Pikachu Libre is a completely different character to play, I don't get why the inclusion and just feel like there's some sort of R. Mika in-joke I'm missing here.  It sure wasn't anything special in Alpha Sapphire when I played it, in fact I got more use out of the other outfits for Cosplay Pikachu than the wrestler one.  I know there was an episode on the show that supposedly had it as well, but it also had a team of Pikachu all dressed in different outfits or something and again, wasn't anything special.

Now, if they devoted the entire character to switching between all those outfits with its moves somehow, be the actual Cosplay Pikachu, that would have been more enjoyable.

That was just one game... Which, as mentioned earlier, isn't exactly the world's best fighting game when it comes to roster choices...

Street Fighter, Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat, and MVC2 (actually I could argue the VS. series as a whole with shit like gold war machine and USAgent) are the same game???

I didn't evil mention Evil Ryu or his ilk, I just thought your implication that "the same character twice" was a new idea was silly, they've been doing this kind of crap since the beginning. Pikachu Libre is actually acceptable by comparison to some of the nonsense in early fighting games.

Mind you I don't like it and thought it was dumb to include a second Pikachu over the actual Lucha Libre pokemon, but that's not at all what I was taking about.

dude, alot of fighting games before had just straight up pallete-swaps, reptile in mk was just a faster sub-zero, kyo-1 and kyo-2 were just kyo with his older moveset and different pallettes, etc.

so no, not "rosters these days are getting lazy", if anything its great that atleast luchapikachu has a entirely new moveset, they coulda just re-used vanilla pikachu, given him a new costume and some new moves and called it a day.

DANG, I forgot those examples, too... I never knew U.S. Agent was a actual character in one of them, anyone know which one? I thought he was just a Mugen spriteswap...
