The game based on PPGD comic. If you're not familiar with it, please read it here: http://snafu-comics.com/swmseries/powerpuffgirls/ The comic is still active nowadays. Note: I also made this topic on MFFA, but since that website has problems, I wanted to make new one here on MFG. About the game:-Well since I made 4 prototype characters from that comic, I decided to put more effort on making more characters from that comic and make their official fan game. Also to spice things up, I decided to make them in "P.O.T.S" style (no joking) because I want my characters to look more better.Working time:- Well I have been working on it everyday, the progress could be seen everyday in this topic. Release dates:- Demo would be available this month, but I might delay a little because there's a lot of things which I didn't put in my characters and in game's screenpack.- Full game might be finished in the end of September, but who knows.Other important information:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyGameplay:- 6 Buttons (3 punch and 3 kick buttons) + Start buttonFighting System Style:- P.O.T.S Style (along with few changes on my own)Style of spriting:- Semi Juggalo (Guy from deviantart) chibi style. He made base sprites for main trio and Bell. Some sprites were edited or made by me, the rest of the future characters will be sprited by me (in the same style).Characters:The game will also contain some secret characters and boss, but I can't tell you about them now Characters planned for demo: - Main trio, Bell and one secret character.Music:-Music will be produced by me. However, I'll need some suggestions for music. You can also send me MIDI files via PM and I can use to remaster them for sure.Progress material:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyScreenpack:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyCharacters' progress videos:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyBlossom Progress video #1Blossom Progress video #2Available versions:Tech Demo: http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/powerpuff-girls-doujinshi-paradox-tech-demo-has-been-released-175713.0.htmlStay tuned for more progress information! Also if you want me to help me with this project, just send me a private message.
I was doing something like this similarly. Working on fixing the sprites, making new ones, fixing the colors since there were tons of mistakes with the sprites. Hopefully this will go awesomely for you.
Ah, I see. Well since I have a load of free time, I can work on it everyday. I'll try my best Also here's more progress on Blossom:Parries:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyDodges, Power charge and Power up:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyAlso I made some new sprites, all I have to do is to put them into Blossom. I'll post more progress material for few hours. Stay tuned
These sprite edits and brand new sprites look pretty awesome so far, though I'd like to see more of the normals she can do: basic punches and kicks for air, stand and crouch. Also liking the dodge forward and backward sprites.I'd send you some of the sprites I did a couple of years ago to help further your work, but they were made for the street clothes versions of them, not their school uniforms.
That sounds awesome I can edit them for sure. Also the newer sprites I made are normal attacks such as kicks and punches.
Pretty sweet, then ^..^I also made sprites for pseudo-SSJ Buttercup (also mostly corrected the hair color from the horrid original color scheme), but mostly for a transformation super XD it's almost like a complete other character, though. You should make each girl have different attacks to make them more diverse from one another, since the original sprite sets are just sprite swap moves to begin with.
I have prototype PPGD characters which can be downloaded in old characters section on my website, but they were not good at all Well my Buttercup had an actual Kame hame ha move, but I might make that hyper as a half joke which can be activated by 2xQCF_start Every girl will have different attacks, but they might just share some same attacks (like Laser eyes and Dash Combo).
I think I tried your PPGD prototypes. They really do need a bit of work, but it's cool that you're redoing them from the ground up. I also didn't know that Semi-juggalo made a Bell sprite set, so that's pretty damn cool too.To be fair, it was just a joke in the comic, too. I just liked the idea, so I ran with it XD
First it was me who made the first Bell sprites, but later on the creator got satisfied by my work and then he gave me some of his sprites for Bell.
That's pretty damn awesome to hear ^..^I know this kind of thing is unorthodox to do, but would you like me to email you some of my sprite edits?
POTSSTYLE.Nice to hear, man! When I'll have some time, maybe I could check the portraits! Good luck my friend, Mojo Jojo ftw! :p
Not bad, but I have an advice, and I'm giving it to you as a friend:Using P.O.T.S. style might have not been the best idea. From what I have heard, there were complains about how overused P.O.T.S. style is. Much better would be to use a more original playstyle instead. Also, I'm not really a big fan of how Mojo Jojo looks like on your sprite set. He looks more like an elf than an ape.

DuckSS said, July 16, 2016, 10:24:48 amSure, send them to my mail. Will do so. I might send it as .rar or separate files. Not sure which yet.
I'll check them out, when you send them to me. By the way this is a progress of today:Blossom's Stand, Air and Crouch normal kick attacks:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyBy the way I was able only yo make one High Crouch Kick attack, I can't come up with other ones.
I think I made a few crouch kicks in the sheet I sent you. Use them as reference ^..^ besides, you'll probably make better ones than mine anyway XPEDIT: and oops, sent you the normal Semi-juggalo Blossom sprite sheet. Sent my edited one ASAP when I saw my mistake DXEDIT2: Yeah, the new sprite sheet I sent you has a few new crouch kicks just above the flurry punch box on the right, one with a light/medium kick and hard kick (which is the same as the one you have now DX except with her background arm thrown back instead of by her side) but I made a start up sprite for it.
Well this took me one whole day to put new moves in my Blossom, and they ended up being really compactible.Anyway, here's a new video footage:Also what do you think about this Lifebars I made? I know there's two powerbars, but I need to decide where to put one
The video shows off some good work so far, man. Very pleased ^..^As for the possible lifebars: I think they look a bit bulky, but that's just me. Where's the character name gonna go, if you include it? And I like the idea of having the powerbar at the bottom, but it should match the healthbar in design as well.
The names will be set under the lifebars, also I planned to put some alpha transparency on powerbar and lifebar.Well I might post some progress footage for few hours Edit: Does anyone know for some great stage sprite rips from some games? I need some of them for my stages.
