I didn't even know they made a Azumanga movie. Hmmm. Slice of life is not something I look for in a movie format though; it doesn't seem like something that be engaging over a long period of time. I'm struggling to think of any sol movies that I've watched. Colorful is the closest one I can remember.

well, only shaft and kyoani have pulled it off well, the azumagna thing is a joke as the movie lasts like 3 minutes. and even then I am givint shaft a lot of credit because it's 3 or so ovas and not a real movie.

What does it mean when a series has "Re:" in the title, what is it responding to?

"Re:" doesn't mean responding, it means regarding. The prefix is shorthand for "about" or "in relation to" or "on the subject of".

Finally finished season 3 of kuroko no basket after holding out for like a year, and then I saw the first season of Haikyuu. These sports anime are surprisingly a lot more entertaining than I thought they would be :P

I'd say the show is worth watching as far as not-madokas go. The twists are a very conventional and not that hard to anticipate, but the execution is above average so far. The leads are dull, but there's a good variety of personalities and scumbags in the cast. It has a good survival game vibe to it.

I viewed Snow White as the lead and her waifu as support, but I guess at this point in the show there isn't as much of a singular focus on any one group or individual. It still feels like she's going to be the character whose actions will be important in the end even though she's not worth shit now.

Yeah, I might be too hard on this show. For every thing it does that could be expected, it does throw a wrench or two in something you wouldn't.

I just want to shout out Flip Flappers for being my favorite show this season, so far. Only issue is that it's almost at the midway point and they still haven't given a very solid explanation about what what Pure Illusion is and why they have to collect those gems in the first place. Troubling because if that isn't handled well the show can suffer for it... but then they go into another awesome Pure Illusion world and I don't care anymore because it's fun as heck. Please don't turn shit at the finish line. I'm begging you.

well at first I feared it would be another rolling girls, but it's more like another yamibo; I a just wondering if all the world have been somehow or another yuri series references or it was just the marimite one.
