Ikemen lagging when using a giant roster

After i added too many characters in my build, the game was really lagging on the character select screen, in a actual match it works fine however. What should i do to fix this? Use the multiple chars in one slot feature?

You can use Orange Dolphin's Alternative Select Module or Carousel Select Module.

Your pc can't handle the animations on the select screen. You'll probably get lag on heavy 3d stages too. Multiple characters in a slot won't reduce the lag as ikemen still needs to load them and is mostly just a cosmetic feature to hide characters.

What? But i though my PC was quite good honestly.... How can i disable the animations in the select screen?

What was the purpose of it? and as far as i know that module doesn't even have a tutorial

It basically just changes the way the select screen is displayed and navigated.
Alternative Select Module = allows for scrolling through cells, making categories for characters possible
Carousel Select Module = the name says it all, basically Alternative Select Module but it looks like a carousel. (i think)
