Uh...how 'bout actually playing the stages in mugen.

They're all single image, single layer stages with varying degrees of mild-to-moderate color loss.  Stages of this type just about never turn out well.  You need to try using multiple layers and read stage tutorials.

Needed more playtesting before release too.

For Courtyard:
1) Single image, single layer stage.  Some color loss.
2) Symmetry duplication used to extend layers.  Looks bad when you see diagonal lines going in one direction and then suddenly turn into a different direction.
3) Missing floortension not too big a deal here since stage barely moves vertically.
4) Zoffset line is way too high (value too low).  Try something more reasonable like 210 to 220.

For District 98:
1) Single image, single layer stage.  Some color loss.
2) The scale looks way off.  Most fighters are too big compared to the buildings in the background.
3) Missing floortension not too big a deal here since stage barely moves vertically.

For Inner World:
1) Single image, single layer stage.  Color loss.
2) Symmetry duplication used to extend, I guess, the sky layer.
3) Floor does not reach the bottom.  Just sloppy.  Readjust image position.
4) Stage is too tall and image does not reach the top.  Sloppy as well.  Change boundhigh.  (turning debugbg on can help identify areas where there's no stage to cover the screen)
5) Vertical follow is too low for a stage like this and floortension is missing. (maybe .2 to .3 and 30 to 40 respectively)
6) Zoffset line is too low (value too high).

For Outside The Gate:
1) Single image, single layer stage.  Color loss.
2) Floor does not reach the bottom.  Again sloppy.  Readjust image position.
3) Stage is too tall and image does not reach the top.  Again sloppy.  Change boundhigh.
4) Vertical follow is too low for a stage like this and floortension is missing. (maybe .2 to .3 and 30 to 40 respectively)
5) Zoffset line is too high (value too low).

haha, they are giants

i played with them and the pics for the stage doesnt seem to hae recieved much damage through the process, if you add layers n stuff like that, itl be even better

after you did, you would have to do manual fixing, because it will pixelize

Just a pallet for Alchemist's Ichigo, i'm currently working on Hitsugaya but the bankai isn't set up and he only has a few attacks. Plus his movement is kind crappy.

OFF TOPIC: well if your also new to creating chars i hope you ask either me or bwdyeti permission to use the code and sprites of the bars i see underneath him, if you coded it yourself fine, if not, just ask and i'll say yes  ;)

Sorry I didn't mean to steal your work, While I’m on the topic I guess I should ask if it will be ok for me to use your bars for my projects. By the way, I would like to know if it is ok that I made a palate for your ichigo. Also, I would like thank you and everyone else who is working on the bleach mugen project. If you need any help, I will be happy to do so, I am somewhat inexperienced, but I have a lot of free time.

wow you were busted there on using his stuff lol.

well aside from them being single layers, and color loss (i'm learning to not pay much mind to ziltima, he most repeats the same thing in ever new stage post)

they look great, however it lacks creativity, since all you did was convert the images and put it in mugen.

if you want try adding some rain and changing the colors of the stages, that way it has something else than 1 image. and look cooler.

I'm not even sure how to add things like rain but i'll see what i can do. But if i had the "skill" i would like to have the clouds move and maybe some leaves in the district 98 stage.

it could easily be done. all you have to do is edit out the sky as in open up the image in a program like PAINT (bare example) and just take purple green or cyan (colors) and go over the sky with those colors and leave the buildings.

its more complex than what i just said i'll explain more later.

permission granted  ;) , about animating the sky, you should start by cropping out the current cloud completely, as with the ichigo's mind stage crop the clouds out and make the buildings 1 layer, as what ryon just said, then find a sky animation from another source, then research on some stage sctrls on how to animate it! search the forum, shouldn't be to hard!

I'm currently working the district 98 stage.

The changes:

Rised the foreground so the chars. don't look so huge and rised buildings

It's no longer a single image

Added trees to the background

fixed up the sidewalk so it doesn't look so bad

here's a few new screenshots
