Which version of the tag are you using? I optimized it  bit recently. Still it's odd that tag would cause a slowdown. Even my old Thinkpad had no such issues. Maybe some particular char that spazzes out in tag?
I'm using the latest version I believe the one that is on the first page.

Hey P.O.T.S how's it going man active tag is a game changer and so much fun but for some reason when using it on Infinite Legacy X it has a slight lag stutter and I can't figure out what is causing it. My laptop is pretty powerful and this only happens when I play a tag team. I tested  all programs closed and still experienced the issue any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated

Hello the tag system works but the only issue I have is the fightfx only showing on the first character before being Koed after that the fightfx follows the Koed character and doesnt appear on the next. This causes attacks to miss.

Okay fascinating because Eltnum and Bullet perform different combos on the easiest setting I must have an older version or something

Hey Resertone another solid release I was messing around with your characters and was curious why Ushi,Byakuya,Rentaro,Yukina and Ciel only do one attack pattern on the easiest setting none of the other characters does this.

Hey OHMSBY really enjoying the AI scaling on the characters but Waldstein is brutal he counters all of my moves even on the easiest difficulty perhaps it is just a skill issue

also Wagner for some reason I can only use her heavy attacks nothing seems to work thank you for all your efforts

Gengar has been released, head over to the first page to download. Saber is updated to receive the higher frame rate effects. (this impacted the file size, I might have to think of alternatives like how OHMSBY handles his effects.)

Site has also been updated. It now have a roadmap section at the bottom of the characters section. (Check it out)

Bullet fixes will come later together with her moveset tweaks.

Character Overhaul will be put on hold/low priority for now.

I see. Never played any BB games myself other than a little bit of TAG.
It must have been a challenge tackling a character from a franchise you're not familiar with. I'm don't know the character very well either as BB is not usually the main games I play and only briefly gone though her moveset enough just to know how it works. BB is quite technical compared to French Bread's fighters.
It was, I was basing her off of Ares Bullet since it's kinda source accurate.

Nope, lower AI difficulty will be built in characters now.

Was planning to reply to this thread on Bullet's overhaul, but I got lazy. Bullet overhaul got delayed and it never happened lol.

So how does the scaling work is it located in the cmd?

I keep having issues with some of Holn AI patches for OHMSBY characters Heart for example when I try to remove the AI and set it to zero the characters won't attack at all but with all the Ruby characters this isn't an issue

Hate to necro this thread but I'm determined to figure this out I noticed that this error occurs when characters are doing roman cancels then immediately attacking I was wondering if this was the issue because the same thing just occurred when playing Dizzy so I decided to control f anywhere on the cns that has value 11 and these were the only ones I found

Hey guys i've been trying to find out where to prevent the Error message: State machine stuck in loop (stopped after 2500 loops): 11 for Chipp
Check your states for infinite ChangeState loops.

This issue keeps happing with muteki's GG characters and constantly crashes my mugen and I would like to know how to rectify this thanks
