Just a note: You should have Eyedol (and all your other characters) deliver their Fatality-esque moves on the last round that they win, not the second round.

Other oddities I noticed whilst messing around in watch mode:

Eyedol was up against GM's Ryu, and Ryu was about to lose the match, when the flashing red "show no mercy" screen popped up.  Ryu managed to come back from certain death at the last second, which caused the sound effect that accompanies revivication to be played endlessly until the round ended. (By the way, Ryu won that round.)

vs. Ronald by Kishio: Ronald performed his "drop a bigass HAMBAGA" move, which Eyedol attempted to reflect (and failed)... and kept trying to reflect it until the move ended.  Shouldn't there be a slight pause or something in between swings?

Also against Ronald, the Red Screen of Doom™ appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the match, and Eyedol club impaled him for the win, with Ronald having at least 40% of his life left before certain death.  Just thought that was a bit odd, there.

Sasuke will probably kill himself after defeating itachi.
That's doubtful.  His other goal mentioned way back when Team 7 got formed was that he wanted to "rebuild" the Uchiha clan after he killed his brother.

I wasn't paying attention to you. There were some other posts here before that you won't get to see.
Ah, okay then.  But with not seeing the posts that were deleted, it left me with the only thing that could possibly be considered as "omfg haet >:0", and... well, you saw how it played out. :P

wtfux drama XD  Never expected this in even a hundred million years.

Let's see, where do I start...

Please tell me I'm not the only one that's every bothered to see the Dave Chappelle Show in this whole thread. ;P
I found your comment to be quite amusing, honestly.

Personally, I just wonder why the "I don't like it" comments are here at all.   ??? :S

It's just an AI. Its not a rebellion, its not a threat to anyone. Its just something luis did for fun and that he likes.

Mugen is not so important as to have people asserting their superiority by any means.
Oh, is that what I was doing?  I thought that I was just voicing my opinion like the others in this thread.  Next time I'll be sure to note that constructive criticism is outlawed around these parts. :ninja:

Funny thing is, I don't care what luis does with my two cents at the end of the day.  ;P  If he decides to take my advice, kay.  If he doesn't and tells me to go eff myself, kay.  I'm not losing any sleep over it either way.

Quote
I'm basically saying that inserting the "I'm better than you because I actually know what quality is" comments into the thread, is plain unneccessary. Key words... It's Mugen
Actually, I was more saying that repetition can get you killed, and what someone figures out what you're doing in a competition and you don't change your strategy, you're no longer a challenge.  That's true in any test of skill.

...well, unless you don't have the skills in the first place.

Quote
Let it be. If you don't like it, don't download it
See, I always found this comment hilarious for one reason: How can you like or dislike something if you don't try it out first hand?

Also:

That image is hilarious.  *saves*

In completely unrelated news, there really needs to be a proper laughing emoticon on these boards.  Everything else just looks like psychos smiling and taunting you. <___<;

The AI that you create is too repetitive.  (I'm referring to all of the patches that you've released, not just this one.)  Aggressive, but repetitive.  There's very little variation in their attack patterns; a good player would be able to dissect what they're doing in mid-match and destroy them without blinking, regardless of the rushdown style they're using.

If you're going to make challenging AI, then be sure to make their attack patterns less predictable.

Good to know that ⑨ is still up and about.

Btw, anyone know how to have a character "set" at one of the four modes (e.g. not make it random)?

Eyedol.  Gargos was piss easy for me, and I'm not even that good at fighting games in general.  I could count on one hand the number of times I've beat Eyedol.

Plus, I always thought that Eyedol had the better ending and death... but only for the arcade.  SNES version can suck it.

Stared at her what? Please, this is Ryu we're talking about here.

...then again...

Sakura: *whap!*
Ryu: Ow! What was that for?
Sakura: Don't give me that, sensei! I know that you were looking under my skirt!
Ryu: I was studying your form!
Sakura: ...that's a double entendre! *smack!*
Ryu: I mean your fighting form!
Sakura: ...oh.
Ryu: --;

Simple.

1) At the "save as" box, goto the "save as type" dropbox.
2) Select "all files".
3) Goto "file name".
4) Type ".rar" after the file name.

I take it you know how to extract files multiple files at once. When it asks you to replace the other files, click "yes to all".

And that's all there is to it.

I'm actually glad that there won't be an SSj version to Goku.  SSj everything seems to get all the spotlight; I say let base Goku have his fun in the sun.

Also, anyone else notice that Goku has a couple of moves from his Hyper Dimension incarnation?

3. If you actually taught Karin, Yuri and Nash to excel combo, then you're a bad teacher.
It's currently random, you'll sometimes see them land about as much damage as a Lv1 super with it, while other times they miss after the first attack or so. I could make them only use their best Original Combos instead... something to expect from my chars in the future, when I replace the randomness in their AI's with the best combos they have and such, like you see in level 8 AI.
Do you mean eliminating randomness from Original Combos, or from their AI altogether?

In case of the latter:
I actually like the randomness in their AIs; makes them far less predictable, and in watch mode, more entertaining to watch.  Unless when you say "remove randomness", you mean that they have the same "mindset" in battles that your Shin Gouki does (unpredictable, and capitalizes on every opportunity that he gets).  Then I'm all for it. :2thumbsup:

In case of the former:
Oh, okay.  Good stuff.

Since I'm here:

Vega's Psycho Field is night useless against a serious opponent.  It's slow, and dissipates the moment he's hit? I think it should either be sped up a bit, or remain even when he's hit... and considering the potential amount of "wtf WRONG" that there could be in doing the latter, I'd recommend the former.

Dan's Self-Styled Beast Roll is apparently capable of infiniting on wider opponents.  (I say "apparently" because I haven't bothered to test this myself, but I have seen it happen more than once against multiple opponents in watch mode, so I figured that it's at least worth a mention.)  Most characters are fine, but with larger opponents, he can bounce back and forth on their shoulders like a ball.

And yes, Ryu does need a new AI.  All versions.  I know Sakura is a prodigy and all, but her shoe shouldn't go that far up her sensei's kaboose...

And his AI actually utilizes the A-Groove custom combo properly.  Holy crap :o
Most of rei and gal's characters do, actually.  Only one offhand that I can think of that doesn't is Blanka.  (There are probably others, but I haven't bothered testing.)

There's also patches available for Johnny and Eddie.  Johnny has tweaked .air, .cns, and AI files, while Eddie has all his .cns files tweaked and an added AI that's missing from the main file.
