Mugen Sprites - Request/Suggestions

Hello everyone,

I am a comic writer, game designer, graphic designer, and more.

I am not, however, a sprite creator/animator.

I know that I have seen some VERY awesome custom sprites created for MUGEN over the years.

I am currently writing a manga series that I think would be awesome to see a fighting game for it with 2-d retro style graphics, in the style of SF3, Darkstalkers, SF Alpha, Martial Masters... even newer retro games like Chaos Code and Yatigarasu.

I have tried finding a good sprite creator that can work in these styles with little luck.

Can anyone recommend some awesome pixel artists that can work in those styles?

Hello everyone,

I am a new person on this forum, but I realize that MUGEN sprite creators are going to probably be the best at creating retro SF3 style sprites.

I am a comic creator, currently writing a manga series, and I think it would be pretty awesome to see it become a retro style 2D fighter.

Does anyone have any resources I can use to find people to talk to about the possibility of such a thing?

Even if I don't make a full game or release a real game, I could always just go the MUGEN route right?
