Street Master's Bison and Mighty Final Fight's Cody have been released!!
One is part of my possible fullgame and the other is an old project I got stored and I wanted to finish, similar to Larry or my AODK chars, but I never published about it before. So yeah, my promise of rework my old and abandoned WIPs to finish and release them is real. I'll be playing some of these old origin games to rework in more old WIPs like Mini Cody and release more stuff, wait for some news soon ;)

Slyck wasn't the only thing I prepared for this month, so here you go 2 more releases, this time two 8-bit characters I wanted to finish since time ago and now I can deliver, these ones are:


1. Bison (Street Master)
A new character from that SFI bootleg you all know now thanks to me XD this is the boxer of the game, and as Chun-li like a strange inclusion, since it's supposed to be Mike but it's more like Balrog from SFII, so I made Bison more like him and this is the result. Expect the same gameplay as all the other chars I made but as a charge character, of course :P

2. Mini Cody (Mighty Final Fight)
A very very very old project I'd never show since it was to be one of my "surprise releases" I made. This one is from 2012 and reworked on 2015, but was eventually abandoned, until now. Seeing this, it was almost complete with all basics and almost all planned moves ready, only I've to make his supers and the stuff I couldn't make in its moment. I still debt you the assist system I planned for him (calling Haggar, Guy and Poison), but that will be made in future updates... and who knows, maybe more MFF chars can be made ;)

Not sure if this belongs here since moleboxing isn't part of MUGEN, but if you want some tool, I know DE-MOLE-ITION, which I used for this moleboxed fullgame. AFAIK, works in almost all moleboxed MUGEN games and some others from Fighter Maker, but it's up to you testing it

Thanks for the feedback, I made an itty bitty update with the readme fixed (the english one only, the spanish one was correct XD) and the Psycho Spit (normal and super versions) closer to Slyck, so now that bug shouldn't be there ;D

Will you consider creating Dr. Peelgood as another standalone clone?
It's not on my plans TBH, especially since Nanaman already has some Dr. Peelgood moves inside... but who knows, maybe I can make him in a future if I got the "just because" motivation or if the people asked him a lot, the time will tell :P

And Slyck was finally released
Now going back to work on Lady Liberty, she has all basics now, so starting to work on poses, normal hits (punches and kicks) and adding her voice (sounds weird with EJW voice XD). I hope to start on both versions of Bonker and Ickybod Clay during this month, wish me luck ;)

Since Infinite Clayfare, one of the most asked ClayFighters to add to the roster was Slyck, the Blob's evil clone from CF2: Judgment Clay. Eventually I heard the crowd and stated it as one of the 6 secret characters, which was revealed as that after the cancellation of the game. Of all the chosen CF ones (not to mention Klaymen and HoboCop), Slyck was the only of those 4 secret chars that you want to be recreated by me... and finally I can deliver you with this version, so I hope this worths the wait.

Here's what you'll find on this version:
  • All his sprites, voice and moves from CF2: Judgment Clay, made accurate as possible
  • New stuff from most fighting games were created: throws and supers
  • 12 palettes, 6 from CF2 and 6 originals, one of them based on CF2 Blob as all the other clones
  • All the CF63 1/3 stuff you know and love: Launcher and Overhead Attacks, Combo System and Claytalities
  • 3 intros (1 vs. Blob), 1 taunt and 2 wins
  • Compatibility with MUGEN1.0+ (data, winquotes, etc.)

I hope you like it, it took me a lot of time to get a good version of him and I hope I could achieve it. Now all the CF2 clones are ready (Ice, Butch, Sarge and now Slyck), I hope to keep working now on Lady Liberty and also start with the CF1-63 1/3 double project (Bonker and Ickybod Clay) very soon... as well all my non-CF projects

Here's a first preview not just for Ramona, also for an old project I got archived in my PC: Miss X from SNK Gals' Fighters.
- Ramona is seen with the CS I made, only ensembled the SFF and AIR with the basics, still working on the CS, as well making a definitive palette with also the FX and Scott and friends as strikers
- Miss X is an old project I got that I already got the sprites, now ensembling the SFF and AIR too, it's a possibility that he becomes in a WIP but by now it's made just for fun.

I revealed other possible projects as Miss X in my Speculations Thread, but also I'm coming back with Larry Light mostly, seen which other projects I got and how many are advanced, like Chiho, Evil Satomi, Alex and Morrigan, I hope to show you more videos like this one ;D



BTW... In your stage pack, the Bison stage... is in Street Master the stage for Ninja.
Will you make Kens borders transparent, like in the source game?
BTW... looks like Ken can do a air attack while falling after the air version of the Hurricane Kick (but not another air Hurricane Kick).
I forgot to answer this, so here I go:
- I noticed that too, but in the original SFI that's the stage for Mike, so I prefer to follow that logic and leave it as Bison's stage instead
- Not this time, I prefer the black outline even when almost all stages are more black than anything
- I was thinking about that but it's OK as how it is, thanks for your suggestions ;)

I was thinking to finish and release some of my ye-olde WIPs, various of them I never talked about and some are part of my WIP page in my site, that will be seen during these weeks, but I want to release a lot of stuff in this month, so I hope to do it ;)
After I said this, I was thinking in those old project I got stored in my PC... and I think I can show you here in waiting they convert into real projects someday...


14. Ryoga Hibiki
The friend/rival of Ranma Saotome from Ranma 1/2 it was already recreated for MUGEN... but not in this version. Here's Ryoga from Hard Battle, one of the SNES fighting games based on the series, in my beginning I wanted to convert it into MUGEN but eventually I gave up on him just because. After so many years that no one converted this version, maybe I can get a look once again to start it, since I got all sprites and an idea of his possible moves, who knows...


. Mini Cody Travers
The only one of these three that got real advance. The chibi/SD version from NES' Mighty Final Fight that was one of my first 8-bits projects, made almost at the same time than my Kung Fu Master chars, with 3 buttons (2 punches and his knife attack) and that can call strikers from the game (Haggar, Guy and Poison). It was supposely a "surprise release" but never was finished nor mentioned for like a decade... until now. Working on my SPvTW and NGPC chars (Miss X included), I discovered i got Cody, and has a lot of advanced, included some of the specials I made... so probably this one will be the first of this post that could abandoned this thread to becoming a real char released.

15. Superboy
For no one's secret that Superboy is one of my favorite comicbook and DC characters ever, especially the Conner Kent/Kon-El versions from 2000s comics and Young Justice series. But I always hated... well, don't liked the ScruffyDragon's version. Many years ago I discovered Slotman's version which was previous to the mentioned one and I liked the simplicity of his sprites, as well coincided with the YJ version (in the series he uses military boots just like this one). So, I started my own version using Shuma-Gorath as base (you know, something not MvC-like) and just getting the sprites and coding it from scratch. I got something advanced, but nothing close to a beta (unlike Mini Cody), but he's still there... maybe I can get some ripped voices from YJ to give him a voice there...

First of all, you need an image editor to change the color to palettes, FF3 only serves you to edit some colors (if that works) and to save it into ACT file. To make palettes, the first thing you've to do is to take a sprite (PCX, but also could works PNG) with the main palette of your character, which has to be in 256 colors, and then editing the palette the image editing program of your choice (since Photoshop to GIMP, personally I use Paint Shop Pro) and there change the colors. After that, you can save the image with another name and save the palette into ACT or in PAL file. If the former, then you can add this file to the DEF file and that's all, if it's the last, then you've to convert it into ACT to make it work.

I hope you liked my AF present for all of you that lasted 24 hrs (however, the GoLink link is still in the Beta 3 Patch and in MFFA's CF collection, so don't worry), but now reporting my advances on my CF chars until now:

1. Slyck
I deleted him from WIP section thinking I would get it in time before March ends but I can't do it, so he's back there. He's practically ready, but now working on Combo System (mostly Finishers and Insane Combos) and in Claytalities (seeing which ones I'll put on him), now I'll be working on him to get the release ASAP

2. Lady Liberty
Getting her back, she has all basics and now making the punches and kicks to later start with her moves. This will be a challenge since she's the second "grappler" of the series along with T-Hoppy, so I expecto to make a good job with this conversion

3. HoboCop and Klaymen
- HoboCop: Working a bit more on his Combo System as well seeing more Claytalities and maybe a new move, I hope to deliver a more complete version during this year... or maybe a s a X-Mas gift :hyo:
- Klaymen: Still converting Skullmonkeys sprites into The Neverhood size thanks to TinyWow AI tools to make his first specials, wait for them soon as I'll show you with some videos

4. Updates
- T-Hoppy: I need to get him the rest of Insane Combos as well more Claytalities, seeing how I make the Magic Trick ones, shouldn't be hard... Should they??
- ClayFighter Ryu: I've to correct some little bugs and change the voice he has... I know how to get voices more 90s and with more variety, I hope to get it soon
- IKEMEN Go: I've to get that engine to fix my chars, I was noticed there're various bugs there, so I'll need to get feedback on them
- Parry: I never touched that part, but maybe it's time to apply this move present on 63 1/3 on my chars. Starting to experiment with Jim first

5. Future plans
- Ickybod Clay & Bonker: Still don't start on any of them, but eventually I'll start to ensemble their SFFs, they will be made for this year ;)
- CF1 Helga and Blue Suede Goo: Thinking if I should make them as separated characters or as patches for my existing ones...
- CF63 1/3 Blob: Time to make my own version of Blob, it's necessary IMO. Not a priority, but will be made eventually ;D
- Lifebars: An old plan I got since IC... I wanted to make CF2 lifebars and maybe CF1 too, but dunno how to make the rounds and time stuff there

I just tested the Open Beta 2 and I loved what I got. It plays a bit different from KOFXV and definitely loved the comic-book style, fits so well on the game. And yeah, I got confused about CR7 as a VG character (not to be in a FIFA/PES/EAFC/etc) but also excited, it passed a lot of time since SNK made a non-fighting sports character (this reminds me KOF's USA Team and AODK's Bobby Nelson)

So, there're 2 characters left to be revealed, it's nobody's secret those 2 are Jaehoon and Hokutomaru, I hope to make their trailers during these weeks. Also... some would reserve the game or would you expect the release day to get the game?? (or maybe not because of CR7)
