Excellent work, Ryon and Алексей! While certain Pokemon are OP (coughskarmorycough), overall the game is quite polished. I especially love that it involves some strategy, particularly with timing weak attacks to counter the enemy and follow up with a strong attack.
Broad title, in case I can't find any other characters...
I'm looking for the Shining Gundam, of G Gundam (SNES game). I'm not sure exactly who the author is, I just know the sprites look terrible because they are resized or something. At least, I think they are.
I've been redirected to e-snips sites, but for whatever reason e-shits isn't working for me. Neither IE nor Chrome can connect to the download... Anyways, would anyone happen to have this character? PM me if so.
Does this include the english voices? IMO some of the dub voices are better than the original... I for one definately prefer raving lunatic Jin (eng) over homo-incestual Jin (jp).

Legends MM is my favorite of them all, so needless to say I was excited to see this. Then I played it, and saw that the sprites are more or less perfect, and liked it more. Fantastic release, although the specials are hard to pull off.
This is probably what he'd look like if TvC was sprited.
It was fun, but it kinda needs work. My character turns around when attacking, which is really annoying when everything's to the right and I suddenly turn left. Other than that, it's good. Nice to romp around a beat em up with a Motochika I didn't spend 10 hours making.
I haven't tested it yet, but how did you handle things like the stage or jumping with this template, Count Monte? Is it all on 2D, like normal fighting game/MUGEN stages, or do they have a z axis like most beat em ups/BOR? Is jump/crouch still up/down, or would this template assign particular buttons for them (to accomodate for the z axis'd stages)?
I'm by no means trying to discourage this, but BOR kinda is the better alternative. It's a lot easier to code for than MUGEN, and it's multiplatform, so you can play it on a variety of systems like PSP, Dreamcast, and Wii. Plus it's got 4-player support "out of the box."
But I digress. I agree with the other 2 posters that this is very interesting indeed. I'm sure others will take the idea and build upon it, perhaps one day making a MUGEN-BOR crossbreed. I'll be keeping an eye on this, Count Monte.
How neat; I'm talking to a voice actor~! It's one of those jobs I've always wanted to do but didn't know how to go about doing it/couldn't afford to move to places like LA. What's neater is that you're younger than me by a month!
This is kinda dorky, but... could you tell me how you started? I'm legitimately curious. And I don't code for mugen, I'm a bor man myself; but I think I could use your voice for a few characters.
Re: Generic Female Voice Clips ~ Available inside!
I think the best way to start is to look and apply for radio/TV commercial voice overs; no one does anime or video games over night... you have to get discovered first. From then on, once you build more of a resume and have some actual experience in the field, the doors'll open up one-by-one.
.... Of course, I'm just assuming that's how the process works.
Re: Generic Female Voice Clips ~ Available inside!
Yes, please reupload, someone? I know I haven't posted in this topic in a while but I'd really like to use these materials. I knew I should have downloaded them way back when.
EDIT: Neat; she plays just like she does in DW5! This style works wonders for BOR (as it's how I code my characters), but I'm not so sure it translates well in MUGEN... she's good for newbie players, but other than that she really doesn't have that much at her disposal in terms of moves.
This is the exact same archive as the one Wuwo uploaded a while ago... so it does not contain the PS2 versions of Kojuro and Hanbei. Reuploaded by me. The reason being is because I've been told that the link on mugenchina no longer works for some reason... So, there you go.
