Hi, Narrator 1 again, back after a bunch of years.

There's a stage I'm looking for that was a hit way back in the day called "Midnight Requiem".  It was a fast-moving train stage in the vein of, say, Psylocke's from the Capcom Marvel Super Heroes arcade fighter.  In addition to the stage itself, I'm also looking for the theme that was packaged with it, a heavy rock version of Chick Corea's "Spain".

I would greatly appreciate if someone sent me this.

E-mail address is narratorone@gmail.com

Edit:  The author's original site was http://midnight-requiem.hp.infoseek.co.jp/top.html
All Infoseek sites have since been rendered defunct.

I found a two-year-old zip file of this character on his blog, but it's passworded and I have no idea what the password is.

Anyway...

Silly me.

I actually came in here expecting something like a stage for the Mortal Kombat character called Noob.

Here's hoping that the Juda update has the special Fatal KO finish with Rei.  Probably not, but still...

Were the boss stages for Neogeo Battle Coliseum ever converted?

If so, by whom?

I come back to the forum after a long hiatus and then I hear about this...

Sweet dreams forever, Reu.  As long as we have MUGEN, you will never be forgotten.

No, really.  No one can forget Evil Ryu and Evil Ken.

I agree with the MUGENite who said that dangling the character in front of leechers' noses via screenshots and YouTube videos is a major cause of beta leak.  I also agree with those who say that it reinforces a perception (regardless of accuracy) of "elitism" among MUGEN creators, which in turn inspires people to take a few notches off the "elites" ' belts.

I should know.  I had the temptation right from the beginning, when Melty Blood was a new thing and Japanese converters refused to give the characters their voice files out of fear of copyright infringement.  And again, when that one Japanese creator was showing off his Gill...

I'd make Kirby.

A Kirby that could copy the moves of anyone -- up to and including, say, Capcom or SNK characters -- he ate.  Thinking of a Kirby that can swallow Marisa whole and fry the opposition with Final Spark... good times...

Me?  I like to play with a variety of different styles, but my most effective is the charging character type (Vega/M. Bison, Guile, etc.).  It's allowed me to win more than my fair share of online battles.

Do not apply Update Package 2.  Repair or reinstall version 2.0.4 and try the solution at the top of this forum.

Unverified, but Possibly Useful, Tip:

Sometimes removing ID Tags from an MP3 file can slightly improve playback quality and volume in MUGEN.  It works for me.
