We're all making good faith efforts to engage with your points, and every single one of your points has been dissected by several different people (because you're basically arguing against the entire forum, LOL)

But the same can not be said of the reverse. This has not been a very productive or fruitful conversation for anyone involved, but if there is one person who can be said to be contributing the most to it not being a good use of time, it would have to be you.

Also, I feel like everyone's getting sidetracked in all this about what Elecbyte's license says, and whether its OK to monetize MUGEN, etc. That stuff is certainly important, but there's a really key issue that isn't really being talked enough about, and that is the fact that Acemillion is stealing the hard work and effort of other people and selling it for profit. That isn't a complicated, grey area like the Elecbyte licensing stuff. That isn't some ingenious scheme that has never been attempted before and should be celebrated for its cleverness.

It's just straight up theft. And it's completely and utterly unacceptable.

1) Do not write users off as worthless beings because they:
have not seen all episodes of your favorite anime
cannot tell the original from an obviously badly stolen and over-powered MUGEN character of a very good friend of yours
appear unable to simply contribute a half-decent stage background to MUGEN.
. . .
it takes all kinds of people to make a world and we cannot all be superior.

There are probably a lot of disciplines in which you would end up on the latter places yourself—could you even be bothered to compete instead of just trying to have fun as a mostly uninvolved spectator who might not even care that much about the discipline in question to begin with. . .

If you'd make a compilation using other other people's works so I'd 100% buy it, cause why not? Why should I download everything myself when someone already did that and made a shitty umbalanced game? What, because it's free? No, he puts effort into it! Not news worthy yet, but a voice actor for Devil May Cry 5 tweeted something strongly hinting at a new Capcom vs. game being worked on. Marvel, Bamco, SNK ? something else ? If it involves DMC it's more likely to be Marvel I guess.

If you make the burger yourself, you have to go buy the ingredients; the shop where you purchased the ingredients likely had to buy them or owns a farm/vegetable garden/mill to produce the ingredients themselves.

If you buy the burger, you're paying the company who made that burger, who in turn had to buy the ingredients needed to produce it.

Trace all sources back to their origins, and you'll find all parties involved are (hopefully) compensated for their efforts.

Ace is selling content he obtained for free; the people who spent their free time creating that content have not been compensated. It is—to continue using your analogy—the equivalent of stealing a burger, adding some "mystery sauce" to it, and then selling it on.

The underdog is the guy with a "community" who makes money from other peoples work, as opposed to people who don't make a cent and work the hardest only for other people to put them in compilations?
