XRD sprites rendering

Hi

I was able to disable the background as well as some particles off the game. My process is loosely based of Suzaku's who made an old thread about it http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/generating-2d-guilty-gear-xrd-sprites-170997.0.html. But this process is in REVELATOR.

What I did -

- As Suzaku mentionned, I modified the "BaseSystemSettings.ini" file - I removed all the coding up to the line -" ; Whether secondary displays are allowed" (NOTE - Do a backup of that file before altering it)
- Then in the Displays settings of the game, I changed the resolution to 1028/720 . And like Suzaku suggested, I removed all the options  - V Sync, Post Effects,  Dynamic Lighting  and Display FPS. I also offsetted the lower HUD to -50 in the Display Settings.
- In training mode, I used a stage like Arena which renders a pure black as shown on the GIF
- As for the recording, I used Camtasia (or use whatever similar)

The challenge for me is to disable the camera movement during special or super attacks (someone already did a Cheat Engine code to control it SIGN but doesn't work in REVELATOR). And also if possible to disable the opponent (rendering it invisible).

With that, I will try to do some "sprites" with that technique and might do a char in the future.

Sorry if that technique was already discovered. But anyway, wanted to share with yall

EDIT-  the GIFS below look a bit degraded as I used an online converter from MPG4 to GIF

AI Patches from Rei (or Reiyer)

I'm looking for these patches from Rei from this site

http://page.freett.com/Gal129/AI./AI.html

I'm particularly looking for JOJO characters and possibly the AI for Ryu of SF2. If you have the characters with the AI patched, that's even better.

Thank you

Guys after thinking it over after I finish Bang I want to try accuracy at least once for one of my characters. Right now my characters are about maybe 15% accurate and I want to try and make one around 40%-50% accurate gamplay wise(I can't do sprite wise). I will do this with Noel because she is the "easiest" to make accurate. I will remake my custom Noel and turn it more accurate. In the end I will have a custom Noel and a more accurate one. However doing this may turn into epic fail. There are somethings in Blazblue like this; When Noel hits the opponent with chain revolver and stops attacking, the opponent falls. To do this in mugen I would need to use a custom state and something like that shouldn't really be used like that in mugen. There are tons of things like this. Also I would need someone that knows Noel's gameplay perfectly to help me with this.

Is this a good I dea or is it a waste of time? And about making it accurate I would have to code things that I would not enjoy coding in a way to achieve more accuracy. I know more accurate Blazblue characters are really wanted but is it worth the pain for me to go through to do so guys? Or should I just keep my characters the way they are for the better?

It's up to you. Some people will appreciate your efforts, including me.

I take stuff like that no differently then Facebook "Leakers". If it ain't from Capcom's mouth or a straight up video, then it didn't happen/said.

I agree..Better wait to hear official words from Capcom...Tired of hearing speculations from supposed leakers who' in or not...

Despite the rumors (leaks) I hope Frank West makes it; if not at least Chuck Greene. It's weird that he may not be in it because of RAM issues ; but he was in TVC. Then again, I'm not working at Capcom.

SFIII super. He raises his hand in the air and slams it into the ground with force, causing pillars of energy to rise. In other words:

I would have preferred that hyper move as ultra2. I could imagine if that move was comboable

Do you have any special plans for the code?

* Vans asks because he's really interested in this.

Hi,

I'll try to do the code once I finish ripping all her sprites (well as much as I can) ; because I intend to rip from other chars too. But I'd welcome help from good coders  :)

Use Camtasia 6 if you want to capture video information

You can also use After Effects to take frames of the video for sprite editing.

I recommend Adobe Photoshop for image editing and pallette creation.

If this game will make it outside of Japan, this will be my 1rst time playing KOF series, hoping this version will not be a failure like the previous one.  How's the learning curve?
