Finally thought of a way to use X8 armors outside of the All Armors Assemble super. As an ES/EX version of the full X2 armor charged buster shot.

X transforms into a random armor from X8 and fires a beam. I can't remember the names of all 3 armors but they are just palette swaps anyway. Firing in the air keeps X stuck in the air while he's firing.

Edit: walruslui I just saw you dropped out of a spriting project elsewhere. So take all the time you need. Anything you can do is merely helping. You're not obligated to make stuff :)

Icarus is the red one, Hermes is the blue one, default is just called Neutral.

Oh dont worry i know, which is why i just said for now ill do a simple buster shot,  my involvement here is a lot smaller in scale than the one i just dropped out of :)

Your guys work will be amazing with this perfects X sprites!!!
Just a idea about armors from the games: Maybe will be interesting If gear armor appear in some super! This is the most powerful and heavy X armor. This armor is the only that X can not use the boss weapons because of the armor power.  with this armor X charge very fast but the shot just go in a little distance

Do you mean the Gaea Armor? If so he will use it for a super move. I couldn't find Gear armor even by using google. I'm not familiar with the armors he may have had outside of X1-8 and MHX. I'm glad you are excited. Since I don't have my DS template complete I may even try my hand at replicating a POTS style like JMM does.

Noting that the new blocking frames have a different palette. Not sure if they have a different color count yet. But since MetalWarrior had said earlier it'd be an easy fix for him to tweak current sprites I will just use this time to start constructing a palette with better index options to make it easier to make palettes later.

I'd started throwing an sff together real quickly when I noticed the old palette didn't work. Good a time as any to redo the palettes!

I don't see how anyone making X right now is going to do it. He's missing SO MUCH!

Walruslui. You don't have to worry about any palette standards when making the new armors. You can set the color standard now.

Okay I can confirm after looking more that these sprites have a number of tweaks.

I have CS'd X a tad more. As Metal Warrior updates and adds sprites I will continue to CS them.

I CS'd his ear piece, whites of the eyes and teeth. So here is base X palette.

@themetalwarrior666: You don't have to worry about the extra CS. But I'm letting you know that you'd missed 2 old colors and I fixed them. There was an extra face color on the nose and a few pixels of blue that didn't get converted. Wasn't hard to fix. I can double check as you make more for us :)

Yes. No stray colors. I altered the colors of some of his ear, eyes, and teeth.

Guys, a suggestion. Are you planning to add a spinning dizzy animation like-mvc on X?

A spinning dizzy anim? He'll get a regular dizzy animation like in SF and most fighters.

He won't have the Falcon Armor's giga attack. But it's the same as the X2 giga attack which he will have. So you can edit it into Falcon armor if you really wanted the Falcon Armor version.

X will turn into Falcon Armor to do multi directional dash attacks like in source.

I think he's talking about those spinning fall animations when the character is inflicted with dizzy or in MvC2's case, struck by an opponent taggin in or breaking out of a supposed infinite.

Finished the sheet of things we can use and things that need to be converted.
No offense to Ramza but he really must have sped through some of the animations. Many are not up to standard. We need to make a new walk back anim and fix the jump too. I want to make the jump more like MMX1-3 I like the way he has his arms out.

Did you use the same glove colors I did? You didn't have to do that I've been color separating your sprites. But I thank you for saving me time!
