Then again, since the Academy Awards tend to be baffling (ie: Titanic winning shitloads of Oscars, Citizen Kane getting a single Oscar due to William Hearst's interference), I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Also Seth MacFarlane embarassing himself on stage should've been a sign of how much of a farce these things are.

The Oscars are a fucking joke. Of course Argo wins Best Picture, it's a historical and it's directed by an big name actor and it's about Hollywood saving the day, how could it possibly lose? It's just... ugh.
