First, mess around with the scaling options in your .def file to get a feel for what space is needed. Then, if you're inclined to do so, use paint or photoshop/gimp to edit your select screen's BG. That's how our BrokenMugen update started: I was merely looking for a way to include more slots.

It sounds a little complicated but it's actually quite simple.

Don't worry about it. Look at your .def's layout. You'll notice that the coding/denotations are a little different for that extra Row. Experiment with that. And sorry if I'm being vague here... I don't have any coding documentation in front of me. I'm going off of memory.
