Had to deal with life and a few other things but yeah here is a quick hello animation expect something a bit more epic soon Also i will start posting up a short description of each move (for a select few of course). Be sure to check it out for more info on yusuke!Crouching Low kick: Damage (10)Can only be blocked low. Should be able to rapid fire this move. basic combo with this should be : cr.lp, cr.lp , cr lk.can not be special cancel able but is super cancel able.Should be pretty easy to link this one. Good for pushing the opponent back.
just got done getting hit with inspiration so i will post the up while i got it fresh.Yusuke will have two stances his first normal called "Spiritual Stance" and the second is called the "Reiko Stance"The first stance he will have mostly projectiles. and be a in "yo face type char" and the second will a more tactical style stance, While he wont be able to move he will be able to counter. to build meter and dash back. he will also be able to other Reiko stance type moves only as well i will explain this stance more as i progress with his moves .

Dude i got you!Its called the Reiko stance for a reason In japanese the spirit wave move is called "Reikodan"Trying to see where exactly i am gonna take that move so yeah its in the works

I didn't finish adding the belt or anti aliasing of the end half of the animation i just wanted to see how it look animated! i will be finishing up shortly Yusuke's option 1 launcher: Damage (25)In order to perform this move you must input the command before the 4th hit of rapid fist which hits 5 times.The normal version of this move cause the opponent to be in a juggle state where he can be juggle 3 timesI will post up the Ex version of this move later...
I've reworked your animation a little bit, giving it a bit more *PAAAWWNSHH* And I left enough free space in the animation to stick the part for the EX version after it
I really like these sprites and animations. As someone noted before, the arms in the rapid punch special are larger. HOWEVER! Those arms look better! I know it's a hassle to do, but I think your sprites' arms would profit if you made all of them fit the style of Rapid Fire Punch's arms.Modification*Specified that I was talking about the arms
Yeah honestly i agree!@RajaaThe original base sprite i did for this is pretty old like two years to be exact and i do wanna update the sheet..Something that i really wanna touch up is the arms and the belt on some of my older sprites are very small and really i don't know why i did them like .But i agree i want this to be the best it can be soo i do plan going back and fixing a lot of the finer details thank you for letting me know I will go back and fix all the arms and belts and try to make them all match. Its just that this is a very big sheet and sometimes i get somethings mixed up and i been working on this on and off for a few years so yeah that's why its like that. Its nice to have people point out the stuff i miss. @Balthazar Thanks for correcting that for me im not as good as you when it comes to animations and I truly appreciate your help. I was just tried of spriting all day and i wanted to see some progress of Yusuke done that's all.
Hey, from what I've seen, a lot of people update their sprites after doing whole sprite sheets. I personally only have a problem with the arms, though. But since you're updating that and this is a WIP, there's nothing to worry about.When this character comes alive for the community, it will all be worth it in the end because who doesn't like Yu Yu Hakusho? Hiei was always my favorite, though. The Vegeta of the series, if you ask me. =p

I know you are having fun with attacks just remember to try and get some boring stuff out the wat or you'll regreat it lolCool to use rock as a base but if you can try to make some of you own things out. You do have basic art knowledge and I know you can pull it off. Look through his animations and movies and or mangas. If you have doubts about an angle or animation just let us know, that's what we are all here for. Oh I couldnt find the sprite here but you had one where he jumps and uses one of his blast. You had his shirt kinda blow back which won't extend that much because he doesn't have sleeves or a very long v-neck but all in all looks good.

I need to do dizzy and blocking and few other not so cool things Yeah i know what animation your talking about yeah I updated that and I will be posting that up soon as well!I have done my research I have read the whole manga.Watched the whole anime and both movies and have half the anime on dvd.Bought a Japanese ps2 yu yu hakusho game just for this ! I really want this project to be good so i dont mind doing what it takes to do so. So if you have any suggestions please do so Also, Thank you very much for your comment

Well, the glowing effect should be separated and coded via an explod or helper. Just think of Akuma's effect! That way, you won't have to worry about adding those colors to his actual palette. That would be troublesome in a way, actually. It's pretty easy to create an effect that resembles the body. I've never done it, but I imagine it in my head and it's easy.The super one would have to be the bottom one, the stance there suggests that he needs to brace himself more. How does the animaton there start? I envision him charging the beam up during the super pause and then letting it loose. =p
