AXEL CITY

Developers: Enterbrain and Thal?

Release Date :    Nov/13/2007
Last Modified :    Jul/01/2008
Operating Systems :
Windows98 / WindowsMe / Windows2000 / WindowsXP / WindowsVista
Age Ratings : G-rated

Created on Fighter maker, to my knowledge, the entirety of its content is original, (by meaning that no resources of other games such as music, sounds, moves and the like have been borrowed from other sources).

Some good work went into the making of their sprites and each character has its own ending on the story mode.

The roster can be increased due to a special projects by the same creators called; Thien Ron  which I will cover in the future. In the end is up to the player to do the expansion or not.

Controls
Z = Attack 1/ Yes (For Menu's)
X = Attack 2 / Back (For Menu's)
C = Attack 3
A = Attack 4
S = Attack 5
D = Attack 6
Up Arrow = Jump
Down Arrow = Crouch
Left Arrow = Move Left
Right Arrow = Move Right
Escape = Quit

Infinites are common place, however i find it a fun game and recommendable to any fan of the genre

Characters converted into mugen: 0 (As far as I know)

Im bringing the link of the original developer, once you get the game you can download the  expanssion for it called Then ron, the cast gets expanded from 14 characters to 30 characters, each with its own story mode and ending, the game play also got patched, remember you might need to have japanese language installed on you computer for this ones

Website- http://www.vector.co.jp/soft/win95/game/se478810.html?ds

 To merge Thien-Ron and Axel City together, you will need the full version of Axel City and a particular set of Thien-Ron files. Fortunately, these files have been sorted out by the devs and listed on their site for download at: www56.tok2.com Click the first link under the red text to go to vector and click the green download buttons to get to the tuikaban.exe. Activate its exe. and install the files somewhere. Then go find the folder(s) you created (main folder is tuikaban) and enter the sub folders. You'll find a bunch of files- these are the Thien-Ron stages and such you need. Copy them all into your official Axel City game folder and run Axel City. The characters should be added to the AC roster.

Hi basara, do you have horiental characters activated?, maybe thats part o the confusion

Heres is the link to the 7 version- http://www.mediafire.com/?z3ztwin2no0

Remember , you must have Axel City in order to update to Then Ron

Gracias, pero mejor respóndeme sólo en inglés, porque las reglas así lo exigen ;)

Actually I found that patch for XP (the one I have) and I already downloaded and installed Axel City. I hope that patch could work, I wanted to play it time ago :(

You need to delete your current game folder and download again with the japanese language active. When you download without making the japanese compatibility all the files get wrong characters which is the reason that it doesn't run.

   Maria looks like a female Ken.... And kazumi is flashing her boobies ;D

   Is there anywhere we could see an English translation of the storyline and char descriptions?

hehe yeah, people seem to have an obsession about having a female Ken somehow (Think Kei on Parotte Fighter as well)

Ive been in contact with people close to the creator of the game, i also have been looking for  an english translation and will let you guys know if i find anything. In the meanwhile maybe the japanese speaking memebers of it could help us with some fan made translations?  ;D

The sprites may not be "clean" but the gameplay is somewhat good. This probably got overshadowed by more popular fighting games.

Exactly, and how are independent creator to improve it they dont get exposure and feedback on their previous work in order to create better content, my main intention is an itty bitty attempt to put a little light on the subject 3 years after its release.
