cheers, not on all moves. the blur effects will be used on moves that have devastating impact, I figured too much blur will take away the detail of my sprites.
-yes I will animate the meditation stance.

-yes yoshi's combo ability is great but at the same time you are forced to take risks on some launchers which are extremely punishable. for example yoshimitsu's knee lift is very punishable and i do not advise performing it as a singular attack. The best way to launch your opponent with yoshimitsu is through manji low sweeps combos or cross ups. You can also fake the manji stonefists into manji spinning lows like he does in tekken and from that you can safely execute the kneelift on move contact that seems to fool cpu AI a lot. not to mention yoshimitsu has a number of moves with HA guardflag meaning the cpu cannot block them crouching. so if your facing an annoying AI that thinks he's comfortable in the "almighty" crouch guard you can punish them real good  >:D

-oh and there are other Tech traps like executing the harakiri to a opponent who is just about to get up in a corner sometimes works. I caught shin gouki with that a few times.

and he has been updated I'll be posting a video either tonight or if not then probably by friday with a new download.
the update details are:

Dash forward:
Dash Back:
WD/CD wave dash/crouch dash: after a dash foward press down
BDC back dash cancel

walk forward during kincho/intimidation for a set time.
Manji blood slayer: (harakiri move similar to his moonsalt slayer)
Manji vacuum: can suck player forward using propellor motion

Button changes and guardflag fixes + A.I

Your Grey Fox made me gasp!! Considering how this video showcases two of my most favorite characters in Videogames, I lost my breath for two seconds. HOLY FUCKING SHIT.....

I really like Yoshimitsu's arsenal of moves. He plays exactly like he should: on the offense. I'm gladly looking forward to Yoshimitsu's updates along with Armour King and Grey Fox's releases.

Yoshi looks very good in the video, but i noticed his jump animation there doesnt look "right" yet do you plan to change that ?

maybe it would look cool if he would have that salto /rolling jump the MK characters had in the old games

lol, thank you again, I tried my best to replicate yoshimitsu as much as possible. The hardest thing of all was getting the overall basic tekken movement right but in my next update release you will see that he moves exactly like a tekken character! I had to put controlsets in the forward dash/forward back codes that enable you to transition between the to after say 10 ticks into the animation like tekken.

indeed 2 robot ninja sword masters they have a lot in common, both have a missing arm both are "not exactly human"  both can use stealth camouflage. but I have to say...yoshi all the way  ;D ;P

I will revise that animation but I wont be changing it into  mortal kombat style somersalt since it's un tekken like.

I updated the character sprites for yoshimitsu so it looks true to his tekken tag 2 "deva king" appearance


Basics attack updates

he now has a retreating slash that has stumble properties which is pretty good for setting up solar kick to shark attack after.
