This time I'm releasing something that is not a character from a video game. It's an original character and a self-insert of mine, Deluxe! I made this because I was inspired by various other self-inserts, and I've been thinking about giving it a shot, so I eventually decided to do it.

Not even a week has passed and we already have the first update for him. :)

Changelog:
- Tried to tweak head.pos and mid.pos (I know they might not be perfect but I haven't really experienced with them at all).
- Kaizo, Beam Fire and Glowing Diagonal Upwards Kick now can be blocked while standing, crouching and airbone instead of standing (Kaizo), standing and being airbone (Beam Fire) and standing and crouching (Glowing Diagonal Upwards Kick), respectively.
- Fixed an oversight where one of the intros used an incorrect animation.
- Added one more character-specific victory quote.

EDIT: Turns out I was an idiot and I accidentally reuploaded the previous version instead of uploading the new one. This is now fixed. Sorry about that mistake.  ¬_¬

Just a quick hotfix:

- Fixed a typo in one of the character-specific victory quotes; it now says "spear" instead of "speak".

Time for... you guessed it, a new update! v1.2!

- Deluxe is now slightly larger. While this makes him slightly easier to hit, it also slightly increases his range.
- Kaizo is now smaller. This makes him harder to hit at the cost of his range's decrease.
- Standing light punch and kick, along with standing medium punch, now have less hitstun if they hit the opponent to remove any potential infinites.
- Added a jumping and landing sound effects.
- Slightly improved readme's style.
- Deluxe now runs backward instead of hoping.
- Added a dash dance mechanic. To perform this, run to the opposite direction while running.
- Beam Fire is now completely attached to Deluxe, so if a character with permament armor pushes him, the beam will be pushed as well.
- Fixed an oversight where Charging Kick and Glowing Diagonal Upwards Kick gave back power.

Statee 190 doesn't have the intro assertspecial, & the win poses dont have the roundnotover.
You can get some seriously damaging combos off with this guy.
I'd like to see the kick ball, state 1400-1420, have the trajectories be different. I'd like C to almost be an anti-air attack. Maybe go over Deluxe's head at full screen?

You can get some seriously damaging combos off with this guy.

What's wrong with that? The combos don't even cause the damage to reach 300 (unless you try to use a different method that I cannot find myself), and Deluxe does have a damage dampener. :???:

New update! v1.3!

Changelog:
- Win poses and intros now have the "roundnotover" and "Intro" AssertSpecials, respectively.
- Glow Sphere Kick's stronger versions had their vertical velocities increased.
- Added a new character-specific intro, a win pose and two victory quotes.
-- Also, three more victory quotes were added if Deluxe is paired with one certain character in simul matches.

New update! v1.4! Name change and new stuff!

- Added EX specials.
- Added a palette selector.
- Added a hyper background.
- Added new hitsparks.
- Modified the input for the hypers (except for Shun Deluxe Satsu) to make space for the EX specials.
- Three character-specific intros were removed, and a new one has been added.
- Adjusted the A.I.
- Added a new special, being a second assist.
- Replaced the 12th palette with a different one.
- Renamed the character to Classic Deluxe following my new self-insert's release.
- Glow Scratch's helper is now transparent.

Note that the tread's name will stay like that because it cannot be changed. Unless there's a different way to do so with keeping the posts. :blank:

After like 9 million years, Classic Deluxe has been updated to v1.5! ;D
Changelog:

- Added new mechanics:
 - Parry
 - Air Dash
- Added a throw.
- Revamped gameplay and combo system - Classic Deluxe now only uses three buttons for normals, though there's a catch - you can now chain a light normal into another light normal into ANOTHER light normal, which can be also chained into a medium normal into a medium normal and then a strong normal, though this only applies to standing normals. However, you can now chain a strong normal into a crouching normal for comboing as doing so will move Classic Deluxe forward a little.
- Dodges and the power charge now use their unique buttons, using A for dodges and B for the power charge.
- Added a "Danger!" message. This shows up when Classic Deluxe's HP is down to 300 to alert the player that he'll be K.O.'d soon if he
doesn't K.O. his opponent.
- The A.I. has been adjusted even further, now being more aggressive!
- Modified plenty of moves' command inputs to be consistent with the new button layout.
- (Modern) Deluxe's attack has been changed.
- Config file has been removed due to the palette selector.
- Added a Hyper Combo Finish.
- Added a Guard Cancel.
- Shortened one character-specific intro.
- Replaced the hyper portrait with a completely new one.

Also, I actually figured out how you rename topics, so the topic has been renamed as well! :)
