Darth Todoh confirmed, that is so amazing. That and Mr. Aikijutsu :o

A small nitpick, but you could have made the arm guards for Darth Todoh pal look lighter by a bit, as I feel it kinda blends with the other colors, but aside from that, everything looks great.

Actually, I took 4 different palletes of black and pallete swapped the base sprite without checking if the tones blended or not. I' fix that.

Damn, eFeX have been dropping fire lately. John Crawley, Lee, Jack Turney and Mr. Todoh all look incredible and SO legit, excellent handling of the style, you mastered it. The variations all look really fun, the bad Santa Jack cracks me up, it works so well lol.

Simply amazing.

Yashiro and Sinclair look fantastic, the transparency alt on Sinclair is a really nice touch and looks really well done (and sexy), that should have been tricky to pull off but it looks great.

and i try to upgrade my old helper...
is not close enought but... better than before...

The pose is kind of weird, but maybe it's a transition frame?

Are you going to sprite over the 3D model or were you planning on just using the 3D model as-is? If so, that's not the correct approach. Since you need to sprite over it, I would recommend using a cel-shading style. Something that has a great deal of contrast between shaded and lit areas. 90%? Good luck! (Not being sarcastic, hopefully you'll get there).

Right now the lights and shadows are all over the place and not really close to the style used in the game. Here's a pseudo-tutorial I put together for another user. eFeX seems to think its accurate enough so hopefully it'll help you as well?

I guess you're sort of getting there? It's still too messy for something that's supposed to be a sprite. I still can't see a scenario where you're not going to have to draw over it to clean it up. You're never going to get smooth 1px lines from a program that's not even trying to render smooth lines.

Is it supposed to be Blue Mary?

tha anatomy/body proportions are stll of for kof, or for most styles that are visually pleasant; that being said the animatoin itself also needs more work, that's the hard part; depending on how good your english is, I can refer you to a good animation tutorial, the very basics should be richard williams' animator survivval kit and the guilty gear gdc.

Also the light isn't exactly in front of her (the light doesn't come from the right), but it's positioned above her, with a certain angle.
