And a Kain R. Heinlein sprite is on the first page too.

If you want a quick search just look for "KOF XII Sprite thread" in Google images, you will find a lot of images posted here.
And if you can't find the sprite you want, it means it just wasn't drawn/sprited (or you didn't search hard enough).

The spriters here usually have a deviantart account, so you could check that out.

Las lineas de los tonos mas claros en los pantalones las hice estrechas y rectilineas para que diera la sensacion de que llevan unos pantalones muy, muy holgados de seda; (a diferencia de los pantalones de Kim o Takuma, que son de tela normal) talvez me pasé un poco con la estrechez de la linea de su pierna derecha... Probaré a hacer que abarque mas zona, a ver que tal. Gracias.

The lightest tone lines of their pants were made thin and straight to make'em look like oversized silk pants; (hence the difference from Kim & Takuma's pants, made of regular fabric) maybe I made the lines way too thin on their right leg... I'll try to make it a little wider to test the result. Thanks.

It looks like you took the hands from my sprite and redrew everything else (I wont take credit for the viewer's left foot cause I recycled that :P)



I don't mind you using a part of my sprite. I'm just wondering if you think there are things I should've done differently in mine.

i think you should really slow down his breathing pause, it looks really unnatural to have him breathe heavily like that considering his other incarnations had him breathe really slowly

It's a 4-month old unfinished animation (see pages 88-89). It needed a few more in-betweens to be fully KOFXIII-smooth so I sped it up to mask that somewhat.

I'm a fan of orochi iori since i played KOF 97.

your sprite work of Orochi Iori inspired me to make one, i'm not a sprite maker & Orochi iori is my first.

u did great, i liked your work of Orochi iori very much and the stance animation is really good.

I was hoping someone will make Orochi Iori XIII & Orochi Leona XIII for mugen but no one did.

are you making all the sprites of orochi iori or u r just making the stance only.

I almost doubled the number of frames, added better hair movement, and changed the timing to match KOF 97's. It was a lot less work than I thought it would be, but still time consuming. I think we can consider it finished at this point, unless there are some small broken details or stray pixels I didn't notice. Feel free to post feedback and critiques.

Well,

-The right (viewer) leg should be more curved at the top, like the left viewer. Too linear at the moment.

-On the topic of the same leg, it could use some folds as well.

-Make the jawline a bit more defined, look at Kensou to see what I mean.

-I feel like the top part of his chest could use less lighting (again, comparing it to Kensou).

-Crotch area and abdomen area (again, comparing it to Kensou) shouldn't be lighted as heavily as you did it. Maybe just make the folds lighted, I guess.

-Lighting on the left viewer shoe should match the right in terms of how the lighting is dispersed. Looks a bit jarring right now.

That's all I have. I suck at this style (like, really), but seeing how well done the rest is, these shouldn't be too hard/time consuming to fix.

Can't wait for the final product. :)

EDIT: One last thing, right viewer knee should be elevated a few notches. Make it the same level as the left.

I don't think comparing the lighting on his legs to Kensou's is effective. Shun'Ei has very tight, reflective jeans on that barely have folds. While Kensou's is beyond baggy. This is a better sprite to compare Shun to:

Actually, comparing the lighting w/Kensou can help:



Kensou and Shun'Ei share an almost similar upper body position , while K' doesn't.

By comparing the lighting, I mean see "how the light hits"; what's lit and what's not. What you are referring to is detailing, and K' would make a great reference for the details on Shun'Ei's pants in that case.

Here's something I did, by looking at Kensou's lighting:

Okay, I followed what you said, and tried to use your version of his crotch on mine.



Before and after shot, and just because Kensou's chest was entirely dark and I wasn't too sure on what to do to Shun's, I made this as well.

Sorry for not replying to you earlier, but yeah, it looks much better now.

Kensou had a small amount of light on his left (viewer) pectoral, but what you did looks good too. All that's left is just refining some pixels here and there, and we have ourselves a lovely Shun'Ei sprite. Great work, m8. :)
