i would name her Bathory because there is pretty cool hentai comic "Elizabeth Bathory" by Raulo. as well as cool song by ghost or venom ;) (also reminds me of the "Countess" boss from diablo 2).

p.s up^ what the heck? Alignment? it's not d&d hehehe..

I used alignment to help characterize who the characters are in terms of what their morality during the events of arcade mode are. Just some fluff to flesh out the characters.

Hell, why not, I'll even throw in an intro where she's bowing before "Vampiress:Desdemona", if eveyone's in agreement.

So...what are we renaming the character to anyways? I could always throw up a poll on the OP if you guys would like? If that's the case, then I suggest that we keep the categories to a maximum of 3 or so (name1, name2, no change). This way the votes will likely be more concentrated.

poll is not that good idea since someone can just press random button without even showing any interest in character at all. i think these are anyway best choices for the character, so any of them is good as any. these are based on baroness, countess french names as well as based on occult, dark magic, vampirism arts. i personally prefer bathory because it sound rough just same way as Bodhi the vampire mistress in bladurs gate games.

so my favourites are:
Bathory,
Lucrezia, (just like the vampiress from heroes might and magic or the girl from sisters of mercy band and same name of song)
Hecate - i like it, it's very dark name but it fit witch more i think...
Bellatrix, thinking about bdsm..(Dominatrix xD)
Nerezza sound like character from Slayers manga/anime :D

only name i dont like from the list is maybe Anastasia.. no idea why you choosed it :D

you can make a poll if you fell so not like the voters are any experts of naming. just dont take results too serious anyway. the creator should be one who make decisive choice although he should consider voice of mob.

Well my vote for Draculina's new name goes with Portia. That name just sounds pretty to me. :)

I downloaded Fighter Factory, but I don't think that is the same software that you are referring to. What does SFF stand for exactly?

SFF is the term for a "Sprite File" or image file.

A "Smart Pallet" isn't software, it's more of a trick you can do with fighter factory using the 'color pallets' you make for a character. It's far from easy, but the payoff is awesome.

Fair is fair though. Anyway, so could I perhaps get a link to this use of fighter factory's software?

Also, when you finish this, do you think I could post it on the OP here (with proper crediting of course) since it's related to Draculina?

It's not software, it's a trick you learn, Rolento has a Color separation tutorial
I use "Fighter Factory Classic", it's older, but for what I do as a spriter, it's perfect, well.... almost perfect.
Credits wont be a problem at all-
