Today is the World Cancer Day, a day created to raise awareness and improving general knowledge around cancer while dismissing misconceptions about the disease. 2014 World Cancer Day is about debunking myths about cancer:Myth 1: We don't need to talk about cancerMyth 2: There are no signs or symptoms of cancerMyth 3: There is nothing I can do about cancerMyth 4: I don't have the right to cancer careAs a cancer survivor, I believe the work this organization is doing is great, and thus I am helping spread the world.Visit their site at http://www.worldcancerday.org, read and learn more about cancer and what you can do about it. Even though I did it on hour 23 where I live, I went on and purple'd my FB profile (it's something). My grandmother is fighting cancer and one of my aunts survived a cancer scare... certainly a reminder that no one's invincible. Thanks for the share.
It's ironic that today is Cancer Day because I lost a family friend who battled cancer for 7+ years just moments ago.Cancer is seriously nothing to underestimate.Still proud of you for knocking Cancer's block off earlier last year Bea, Lol.
