it's very arrogant and very rude. I'm not the nicest guy but even I know that if I don't agree with someone on their taste it doesn't mean theirs is anymore wrong than mines is, at the end of the day the only person who can "officially" say that our sprites or whatever isn't correct is the CREATOR of Lilith, as far as I know ALL of our interpretations of Lilith ARE unofficial whether you like it or not.

you have to be open to that fact, being stubborn like this is going to hurt you as an artist and as a person, not that you're a terrible human being or whatever you're a great person regardless and I'm not saying this to be mean, but my point still stands.

He didn't even say "gigantic" or "blown-up" or whatever like morrigan. I've seen hundreds of Lilith fan-art that's way worse than what he described.

if you're having issues about little things like this, it's best to not act out on it until you've calmed down or talked to someone about it, trust me I've made mistakes like that too. you can always pm me or anyone you know about it.

but you have to get used to other people interpreting Lilith in different ways, it's the internet, you don't own the character of Lilith and I understand that you're "attatched" to the character, but getting triggered by something SO small as JZ's comment is a big issue that you need to work on yourself as a statement like that is not even alarming even to the most oddest of odd people, get help or calm down if you need to and work on it, there's no shame in that.

That's not actually true, even though lots of people seem to draw them that way for some reason. In their spritework, Morrigan and Lilith's wings always sprouted from the upper back/shoulder blade area.

Yeah, like I said, lots of people do draw them that way. But I think it's more just due to lots of people drawing her without really being familiar with the actual source material. Her default pose has them hanging down which, if her back isn't actually showing, makes them look like they're attached lower than they actually are. So some artists started drawing them attached low, then other artists who see that art without actually playing the games draw them attached low too, etc, etc. and it snowballs.

that's good to hear, yamori is a good friend of mine so seeing this really confused the heck outta me and seemed really off. i had a feeling that i would have to give her this "reality check" kinda talk, it's been on my mind for awhile, but i didnt expect it to be for something as simple as this, i thought something huge would have to happen for me warrant a talk like that. I know she can be defensive about Lilith but something like this was a first for me, I'm glad it's been resolved then.

I hope I didn't sound hostile or aggressive, this was honestly a very blunt conversation but it was out of respect for yamori to ensure that she doesn't have any bad blood with people over a silly thing like this.

It was like that in CPS2/SFA3. So it's fine. I meant the tricep(s)/arm(s) for feedback. I tried to do it a little but I felt I wanted to do some/a little more.
