About the Super Soaker thing:  The reason there was such a fuss over them was because some kids figured out that they could shoot more than just water.  IIRC, some kid used one to shoot bleach into a cab driver's eyes as he drove past his house.  There's also an urban legend involving a Super Soaker and gasoline.

I'm sure every kid in the world growing up with the NES had imitated themselves being a robber or gangster of some sort at one point or another (I remember having two extra ones and cutting the wires from underneath, to really live the experience......what can I say? I was a kid back then). Can't believe someone had the balls to rob a place with the zapper though. Welp, sucks for them doing that stupid shit in a post 9/11 world.
