Backflip animation plus a look at his Captain America palette.



Positioning is a bit weird, but it looks fine in the game due to posadd and vels and all that.

Been missin' out on all the progress lol. Everything is definitely looking great like everyone says. I knew when looking over you characters and sprite style, that you'd do Skullo justice. Thanks for this and keep up the awesome work. But you don't need anyone to tell you that, right? ;)

Hmm... That's a very interesting take on a theme for Skullo. I'm assuming it's completely custom, because it really doesn't sound anything like this...



Nonetheless it is nice. I'll use both and alternate between them from time to time.

I'm using the "sprites" from Deman's Skullomania, turning them into sillhouettes, shrinking them to 45% and then drawing the sprite over top of it. Since Deman's are rips of a 3-D model, the animations have tons of frames so I'm reducing the frame count to CVS levels of fluidity. So, like Haggar, these animations are actually unique to Skullomania.

That's what Wizzy does, he makes original themes. Some of them have small influences from other stuff but that's it.

Yeah I see; there's no reason for his left foot to have shadow on the outside (there's nothing above it at all to cast a shadow).

Spectacular work. I has always hoped someone would make a sprite Skullo. Can't wait to see what his Skullo dream will look like in this game. Are you also putting in the alternate NeoSkullo dream that was hidden in EX?

Took a long break from this, which was a lazy move since I was paid so much for this, so I apologize to DivineWolf for that. I've just had some heavy personal stuff going on which drained my motivation to sprite (which is why I was coding Superman instead, to keep my mind off of stuff without the strain and patience required for spriting). Here's the Skullo Crusher though:



Trust me when I say he spins so fast that more rotation frames aren't necessary. This looks especially good in-game. Next is the Skullo Head!
