Marvel Zombies - Updated with Zombie Hulk animation

Hello,
I am new here and started to make sprites for the project:

Here comes a new challenger: Zombie Hulk:

The idea is to make a full game that follows the comic series storyline: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_Zombies
And here is the very first screenshots:

But I suck programing, I tried really hard, but Fighter Factory doesn't like me. Bt I am making my way. Slowly, my idea is becoming a WIP. (Can I turn this into a WIP topic?)
So, if someone liked the idea, please, help me. (Or just comment... a Woody from Toy Story got some without any images or anything. It's kinda frustating)
Thanks!

Aren't those sprites from Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems for the SNES?

Any reason you're not using the one's from the arcade fighting game? Or is this game meant to be a sidescrolling beat'em up, too?

Yes, they are.
Well, I like simple chars that are made from even more simplier games. Don't like those that can explode the whole screen with a single poke.
I think these sprites are easy to change and make more easy moves.
And remember I am a newbie in this thing. I don't want to chew more than a I bite.
Thanks for Replying.

I had problems with my computer and I got a little disapointed. I'll restart the project with a new char: ZOmbie Hulk.

I don't like SNES sprites that much, but nice idea :)

I like the idea, but the sprites, especially Hulk's, look incredibly similar to the original War of the Gems sprites. Hulk and Spiderman could use some dulled colors to help out differentiating them from the source.

Which one is the original Hulk sprite? See if anyone can guess.

They don't really look that zombified to me, but it is nice to see oldschool sprites being used. I'd like to see a project more in that vain.

I understand your point, Commando and Gill... I am still figuring out how to make them better.
I need to learn to use the palette features, but I am having hard times to make the basics.
I'll try harder.

It's not that the sprites are bad; they're quite useable. It's just that they don't make me think of them being zombies.

Maybe a color change for Hulk will do the trick... and use a skin color around spider-man mouth.

There you go, you're getting somewhere. Might I suggest the same general idea for Spiderman, like a tear in his costume or two. Notice Hulk's skin is a dull, vomit green in the comic/figure/series, and Hulk's WotG sprite is a forest green. Dull the red in the wounds, and dull the green, and you've got yourself a damn fine start.

Also, I agree completely with Gill. It's nice to see some older sprites being put to use.

Hah, finally somebody makes something with Marvel Zombies, for Hulk u could use these sprites:
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
Or just edit previous Hulk's face into E.Hulk's and edit colours into "zombielike"
