the blue color scheme in the MFG banner now is too vivid compared to the subtley greyish tone of the new layout. and maybe a bit too big and overlaying other elements as well.

I like the new layout BTW, except that in the chess section where my browser not really compatible in showing the table.

I also like that thread starter is now placed under the topic title instead of in special column.

A good chunk of those mods were custom-made, so it's a bit more than just installing the packages. Otherwise it'd all be done in a matter of minutes

In Firefox the transparent part of the logo is white.
The whole upper area could use some reconfiguring I guess.
