Well this is interesting. I highly appreciate the help, no doubt about it.

Make sure you index your image to a PCX file before posting.

Your Image quality is pretty good with the exception of some further needed cleaning. This is clearly visible when you zoom in to his edges: You will see brighter pixels that need to be cleaned up. Also on the plate is common sizing of 240 by 280 pixels.

By easier meaning "faster conversion??" Nope. Unfortunatley, for really nice looking stuff, its all about taking your time. You could obviously make some quick conversions, but quality would take a dive. Even if you have a super high quality image, there will still be a need to spend time ensuring clean edges.

To summarize: Super quick = shit. Taking your time = epic winnery.

Hmm... Well, all I can say for edges is a keen eye. Just make sure everything looks natural amd clean. I recommend keeping the original image handy so you can compare your render and your conversion. There's really no technique or trick. Just practice.
