That's what I was talking about as well, Counter Movement is just Capcom's name for KOF's Guard Cancel Roll.

I don't know about the normal->roll cancel though, I don't remember it being in any KOFs.

I'm not talking about that though, and neither was he. I just checked it with Vans' Angel, and she can infact whiff normals and cancel them into a foward roll. I'd wager Vans knows what he's doing, so, it must be from some KOF. I'd assume 2002UM or w/e...? Regardless of which KOF it's from, that's what he was talking about. Not Counter Movement/Guard Cancel Roll.

Maybe I got an older version? I haven't re-DL'd her since her initial release. Perhaps it was a bug and he already fixed it. Though, the one I have can do it. I can send her to you to confirm.

Why don't you download the newest one to see?

Also I checked vanilla 2002 and got the same results.

Need to add his CVS2 intros and the SFA intro against H"s Adon. I've been tweaking and working on him pretty steadily the last 2-3 days. What I really need though is extra pals. Currently only have as CS'd default. I'd like to get 12 altogether before releasing him. So, any help with that would be greatly appreciated. I'm really no good at making pals. Especially not with a CS'd SFF. It's a lot more complex with all the extra pal slots. His template should be a page back from this one. If you do make some pals for him, could you please convert them into .act format, ready to apply? I don't know how to take the pal from those templates like pics and convert it into .act.

I honestly prefer KOF style Max Mode (with Free Cancels, not the buffs-you version).

It was actually suggested to me by JZ that I do that, when I was first ironing the system abilities for Mai/Poison oddly enough. I was leaning towards it, but decided against it in the end. Felt that it may be too much of a buff, given the overall basis is a CVS custom groove. That is a good MAX mode though.

If you didn't have MAX Cancels, it would've worked out just fine. Sadly, you decided that was too good to leave out (or something). If I ever edit your chars, the first thing I'm adding is Free Cancels.
