Awesome work! One thing that's a little weird is that psylocke's Ninjutsu/teleport commands becomes different depending on what side of the screen your on and its really confusing.
For example, if your on the left side of the screen you press F, DF, D, DB, B + LK she teleports backwards but on the right side of the screen you do the same command she goes forward instead of backwards. You would have to press F, DF, D, DB, B + HK in order to teleport backwards on the right side of the screen.

It makes a lot more sense if you think of it the other way around. The buttons are set up like the screen, LP is always top left, HK is always bottom right. It's actually easier for positioning setups.

I don't quite understand why qcbP on the ground is available, but not in the air... Unless from a teleport. Why forbid it in the air without teleport ? Especially since Psi Drill is specifically the only attack special (not counting the teleport) not available in the air.
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.

Insigniawarfare

It makes sense but i wouldn't think of it as it makes it more easier to do setups considering that all it's doing is making the character more complicated and more ways for you to make a mistake in a match thinking the character will have the same command on both sides of the screen even though she doesn't. I'm just saying most people maybe use to having similar commands on both sides, just in the opposite direction like how its always been in most fighting games.

Byakko

There are a lot of teleports in various games that work like that. Especially 6-button teleports (ground and air).

I never really used her so i was a bit confused but your right her teleport commands was kind of like that in Marvel Super Heroes.

Thank you. I've come to the conclusion that if you guys aren't on my head during the beta testing period, then I must be doing something right lol. It's fine, it all helps either way.

Mainly due to reaching a compromise so to speak. Essentially like Tjun did with his version. I liked the idea of making Psi Drill available on the ground, without needing to do Ninjutsu. However, in source she could only perform Psi Drill(aka Mini Psi Thrust) during the reappearance states of Ninjutsu. So, it was a middle ground thing with retaining some source mechanics with it. I may change it though, if it feels a bit off. Maybe... Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, I was going to say that's how it's supposed to work. The button used will always send Psy to that position of the stage. If you played with her, this wouldn't feel strange, however, I could see how it may feel strange using another char with a teleport move and the positioning reverses depending on which way the char is facing. You'll get used to it and it is much better with setups that way. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

Xenomic

Congrats on yet another release~ Looking forward to seeing who you decide to do next~

Aldo

Pretty impressive Psylocke. I really like what you did with her, with the Psi-Drill addition and how L punch Psi-Blast makes a sound when it hits the floor.

- Typo in the readme, Ninjitsu can be inputted with F, DB + any punch/kick. The motion mentioned in the readme won´t work.
- Why is there a small red CLSN in her standing to crouching state?? Any particular reason for that??

Nothing gamebreaking... at all. Pretty neat work :)

I believe its the crouching parry detector, most custom CVS incarnations have that.

Infinite Daze

Thanks, now to address your feedback...

-You may be able to slide your thumb over the D-Pad to pull Ninjutsu off, but I assure you it is an HCB motion to perform it. Check her CMD if you like. There's no typo.
-Parry detection. Same as if you tapped forward, you'd see the red clsn on her. To go to her crouch state, you need to press down, thus activating the Parry mechanic.

Thanks again for your support and pal contributions for Psy.

I can't find a single thing about this character that I DON'T like. Everything was done superbly in my opinion. The edited sprites are great, and the use of the existing sprites is very creative. This character is outstanding!

Have you considered allowing Ninjitsu to be used in the air as well? Perhaps not immediately after a ground Ninjutsu, but still making it available otherwise? I think it could make for some very close and rather interesting escape moments.

Thank you very much. I appreciate the compliment. I'm glad you're enjoying her. As far as allowing her to use Ninjutsu in the air... The thought crossed my mind in the development stages. However, I found it an unnecessary buff. It would allow some interesting escapes, that's true, but that would also make punishing her on air attacks(if blocked or thrown out too early) next to impossible. I appreciate the suggestion all the same though. Thanks again.

Dr. Bob, Beautician

Most awesome, as usual. Thanks for another great release, man. You're one among the best in my book!
