Felt like animating this sprite the other day.

Superb, man. Subtle breathing animations are so damn hard for me.... not a lot of space to move the body parts around (I mean, the character's standing still, so there's a limit to how much he can grow/shrink), but the alternative is little to no movement. You nailed it.

Yes, very impressive animation.
To me these subtle kind of animations are the hardest to make.

He literally managed to split in parts one pixel move.
Not something very common, but it works perfectly.

Looks sick! This makes me wonder if someday we'll see a proper version of "player-sized" Apocalypse in mugen/Ikemen.

Excellent job!

I have seen some of mugenized attempts on apocalypse that took inspiration with his other capcom marvel game Marvel WARS of the GEM in SNES

mainly the trying to put the extending drill arm,

if you guys feel expanding more on apocalypse like his mechanical shapeshifting capabilities

you could take inspiration from

Dynamite Bomb!! /INAHO TOWN DYNAMITE BOMB  character named Yozo/Youzou Ohta his a cyborg with shape shifting mechanical arm

which is perfect for some Apocalypse's special move inspiration

and also this unused sprite from cutting room wiki

I think you meant X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse. He wasn't in War of the Gems.

I started looking more into the Alpha Style, and I wanted to remake a character I did months ago, Stray from Final Fight 3

Found a severely incomplete sheet on my terradrive that was meant to be a CPS2 capeless Bison, and just did one frame of it. This was back when I considered Bison and Kefka as the final bosses for CvSE.

Oh well.

I suddenly was looking up for bison and googled a Capeless version then stumbled on an old comment on this thread

Was there a Cape less Bison in mugen back in the early 2ks(2003-2005) that exist?

So far Alpha Bison cape less exist only on GBC Alpha?

He could interesting turn into serious Bison that is a second form a grappler that lift his enemies with one handed, then something that also WALKS and RUN than floats

You know, there actually was. Shin Bison by B.Skryo-Rextrion. I don't guarantee the quality is perfect though...

P.S.: video shows edit.

Refrain from posting 4 times in a row, try to condense your posts in one or two at most if you don't have enough updates. I'm going to merge some of your posts now.
Also posting gifs might slow down the page loading times. I'm going to put those in spoilers.

Done.

As for your question about the arms being too long or too short, you need to consider the resolution the games (Street Fighter Alpha, MvC series) have and use references from those games to be really sure, after that, it's just guessing.
At a first glance I think the length is correct.

At a first glance I think the length is correct.

To further illustrate on the old Capcom arcade aspect ratio topic, hopefully this image can be of some help:

(As you can see from the difference between sprites like the sun, and other circular shapes from the screenshot, sometimes not even the original Capcom staff were sure which scale would be the "correct" one... :S)

If you're in doubt about the proportions of something in your sprite, try resizing the canvas using any of the values from the image above as a base - or simply multiply it's width by 1.2, that's pretty much all it comes down to. :P

Slightly related: the character graphics from Capcom vs. Snk and Capcom Fighting Jam/Evolution are actually based on a 320x224 aspect ratio, multiplied by 2. This means that, not only the previous CPS-2/3 sprites have their width reduced, but all the characters graphics (including the ones exclusively made for these titles, aka. the "CvS style" sprites) also have their height slightly stretched when displayed on a 480p screen...! :ninja:)
