LOL I know...its the result of it still lacking some detail and the crutches that go with it...I can promise you its THAT HUGE in the original art.



but yeah, once the crutches are drawn in place it shouldn't appear THAT HUGE.

also, Tom seems to sport a pretty big build compared even to Alex here...so he's not really as skinny as Jean Reno even if modeled after him.

That Jean Reno in crutches had me in stitches. Very impressive. Does your job include drawing skills?? Yours are very good.

Those snapshots of art are amazing; you have a great eye for awesome stuff. I've always had a knack for darker and brooding pieces of art. That Vader and Boba Fett are simply bad ass. Kermit stole the show in my opinion. Very cool stuff!!

You too have that EVIL EYE for great stuff. :twisted: lol
Man...it was so hard to decide between buying the Kermit/Yoda one or the Bobba Fett....In the end I bought the Bobba Fett because it was smaller and less expensive. :P Still set me back $175 though...but it was damn worth it.  :ninja:

Glicee on canvas limited reproduction (its a process that a machine does with spray paint to mimic the texture and painting from the original...if you go to Marshalls or Ross' art section you'll see a bunch of commercial stuff made with the same process...looks close to a real painting but machine made). The Bobba Fett one I currently own is 52/90.

They had the Kermit and Yoda original for $15,000. :P The small reproduction was $265.

I should have some time tonight to get back to in mugen gear mode. :P

...I'll be working on getting that SF3 Title Screen done and out of the way, and if I have some time and energy left I'll try to finish Tom's drawing just to have him in place.

In the meantime I'd like to share some preliminary stuff from my SFZ/A 3 portraits project that's been on the backburner for at least a month now.

Yup. That's the pair.

Well, I finally got things looking smooth and clean for the title screen.

The 3rd STRIKE font pulsates while 2OS's animation fades in from pitch black and loops in the background...I urge you guys to see this once its released because it is beautiful.

Now I just need to add the Roman numeral III, the Fight for the Future part and make a font for the cursor selections.

As corny as it may sound, you fellas getting anxious and providing nice compliments actually gives me more drive to continue this thing.  :D

Everything except the cursor fonts in now placed in its rightful spot and animates beautifully.



Now, can someone please be kind enough to point me in the right direction of a comprehensive font making tutorial?

Its just that I've tried it before on my own and I honestly totally SUCK at it.  :sugoi:

I don't have a tutorial for you, but Randomselect does have a tool for fonts.  If you've got the images to work with you should be alright.

Making Fonts is as easy and just as similar to making any other graphical asset for Mugen. Just study some actual Font files in Font Factory. Really, it's that simple.

Fonts are coming along nicely but I will show them once they are all done. Thanks for the support fellas.

I started shading and cross hatches on Erik Lehnsherr...shit is hard on my small digipad and I need more practice...I had to undo and do over many times but I'm getting the hang of it. ;P
