Very cool snake, Ive always liked how the mgs1 snake looked. :thumbsup:
You should try give the rocket launcher blast transparency Seanaltly, it gives it a more "smokey" look.
Love the raiden intro btw.

feedback:

I look some desaling  sprite in the quick jump forward

add some real effect to the gun when it shoot the guns go back (the kick in spanish)

Very good looking character...in less than 3 hours i´ll sit in my PC and test out the updated version...Snake is a great character itself,i can´t wait to see how you make him(even though i never played MGS games before...my reference and i assume yours would be Brawl...:P)

Nope, as I make mention of in my WIP topic, this is MGS1 Snake, while the Snake in Brawl is MGS2. Also, in Brawl, while he has grenades, Nikita, mortars, etc., he is still kind of toned down as far as violence goes due to the nature of the game. Here, he is free to use his guns and he has a choke hold. He plays nothing like he does in Brawl. He plays as if he were inserted into a Street Fighter game. I look forward to your feedback, I just thought I'd clear this up early.

like i said the previous 4 times, if you want his english brawl voicepack let me know thatll add allot of those voices your missing. dispite what game it came from snakes voice is snakes voice!

best orginal character ive seen yet. AI needs work but your still on 1.0 so that can be worked out in later versions the specials are awesome, intros and KOs are sweet addiction as well. overall, a definate keeper for years to come.

That aside, this is a solid (no pun intended) character! The sound is crisp, controlling him is easy, he doesn't appear to have many bugs. I dig it :D.  I can see alot of "rushing-in and attacking" for a future AI. ;)

oops...my bad...i didn`t know Brawl`s Snake was based in MGS2...never played brawl... :P
Tested the character:congrats,he`s very "solid" indeed! :sugoi:
I`m curious of why he`s not able to run instead of that jump dash...that would help with the speed of the character,if i`m not mistaken,the animation for the fwd dash and back dash are the same --;
Also,in my opinion there should be a difference of speed and distance using the roll...like akuma with his ashura warps with kicks and buttons
I like the win poses...also i think that some of the moves can have their commands changed...QCBx3 is not what i will call an easy command.
As long it`s not a level 3 hyper,commands shouldn`t be too complicated,specially for ppl who still plays with keyboard(guilty ;P)

EDIT:something that i cannot test due to the lack of an assistant while testing...can you grab snake when using his escape roll like KOF characters with the feature?Just asking,as i cannot test that
the clsn for the machine gun and pistol look like an extended punch or kick,but i know that`s the only possible way to do it with an invisible shot and it can hit jumping opponents...

I just favor the forward jump dash with my characters. Yes, I know the anims are the same for forward and backwards, all of my characters are like that. For the record, my fiery hot disdain for  --; runs deep.

I tried that, but it never looked right to me with the animation I used.. The roll is an evasive maneuver first and foremost, so I didn't really think it needed different distances.

If you would like to change the commands, be my guest. I use the QCBx3 command because I figured a difficult command was necessary for such a high damage, high cost (it's Level 3 only) move. Some of SNK's super commands are ridiculous, and I have always thought Guile/Charlie's whole "charge DB,DF,DB,UF,K" thing was hard as hell to get to work on a regular basis.

Yes, he can be grabbed out of that, and it doesn't pass through projectiles.

Yeah, it really is the only way, since bullets travel faster than we can see so I figured there should be no visible projectile. They are still quite easy to jump over, so I feel it's balanced out.

Speed Issue

So, a lot of people are complaining that he is slow. In what sense? His animations, or his movement speed? His moves are designed to have a bit of start up, especially the guns. If you guys would like me to simply make him move forward and backwards faster, I can change the vels in the cns. Or am I missing something? Elaborate for me guys!

He's slower then your average MvC character, I guess.

Gameplay wise he's fine, though I'd rather have a different command for the landmine.  I always do a backroll instead :P
