This doesn't look smoother, it just looks worse. It doesn't look like a new alternative sprite style, it just looks like "KOF but bad". It's visually unappealing to look at, and I know I can't tell you what to do, but I personally genuinely miss back when you actually made a genuine attempt in making good looking CvS sprites, instead of this ugly "simple" sprite style that you keep insisting on making it work.

I'm not usually this negative towards anyone's work, but there's really no other way of seeing it. You literally took someone else's sprite (with credit, granted) and removed everything that made it look good. There's nothing good I can say about this, and I can't imagine playing a fighting game where the sprites look this bland.

So you just took Thedge's old Marco and removed almost all the shading and contrast? I don't understand the point of this.

Always liked how her 2000 Striker sprite design looked, so this is just awesome to see. Really smooth stuff there

I think one major problem with it is that the timing is not selling the weight very well like in the reference. Slowing down his steps in some frames would do wonders to help towards it, along with giving him more up and down movement. You can get away with moving his whole body up and down more, though you'd just need to readjust the posing of the legs to stay connected to the floor afterwards.



Also, made his belly bounce up when he steps up to give him a nicer sense of gravity.

Good to see Earthquake finally getting a run animation. Whenever I saw other people make him "run" in Mugen versions, they just made him roll continuously instead lol

That's a very good sprite, but I think the proportions are too wide for something CvS styled. The shading looks CvS-esque, yet the size and shape of the sprite resemble the Alpha games more.

Zangief is looking really good so far. Sakura is also looking pretty nice. Honestly nice that you decreased the amount of frames to some of her animations to make her animate more like the other 3rd Strike characters. I take it you're still gonna do that to the rest of her moves?

It's less that the gap was wide and more that her legs were suddenly very far apart, like her hips suddenly stretched horizontally by a lot.

Trying my hand at Garou to KOF Conversion, Don't know if anyone has to tried to do it with these 2 but I wanted to give it my best shot :)





Like Squidly mentioned, Kolossoni did make them both for Mugen, though the fluidity of the Garou animation is lost on both of them. What you did here is perfect and really does them both justice, it's something I've been hoping to see so badly, honestly!

Still looks like her head shrinks significantly in size. But other than that pretty nice!
