High Res Cropped & Uncropped CvS2 Portraits

Alright guys. It's been over a month since I did the Capcom side's portraits in hi-res. Now I've finally done the SNK side.


A few things to note:
-The selection screen is a MOCK-UP! It's only there to showcase the small portraits included in the .rar file.
-The small portraits on screen are blown up so they look worse then they are supposed to.
-There are no small/regular sized Capcom portraits. I've honestly run out of steam at the moment and have been putting them off for weeks.
-I don't have every "extra" picture in full color. They seem to have disappeared.

Here is what you'll get: On the SNK side you get big and small portraits cropped and uncropped as well as life bar portraits to go along with the CvS2 life bars. The Capcom side gets has just the big cropped and uncropped portaits. There is also an extras folder that holds CvS2 converted characters, color edits, some CvS Pro stuff, and CvS2 life bar portraits made from the original creator's character portraits.

I am also releasing cleaned pictures the pictures in full color so people can edit them however they wish.

So, yeah sorry about laziness. I'll get to the small Capcom side soon.
Will upload more color edit type stuff later (I will not bump this topic for it though)

Is there an easy way to reference these portraits from the select.def file or do you I have to edit the sprite file ?

From the select.def? I don't think so. Use Fighter Factory or some other program to edit the sff. file.

Judging by that screenshot, it looks like they suffer from some color loss.

great! I'll use some of them on my next CVSW update (mainly cvsingrid, cvszero and lilith so I can have more free time, not wasted on cleaning :P)

Yeah, I modified Drachir's CvS2 Wannabe motif, but I can't release it because he hasn't responded to my e-mails about permission yet.  It's not 100% done yet anyway.

Hmm... Just noticed the eyes in that Felicia portrait are blue, which are the incorrect color used in her sprites. I'll upload a fix later.

I like the color changes you made to Zero. Perhaps I should make a new portrait from that for the next update.

I got better quality pictures of the CvS2 characters (^) so I'm going to redo their portraits this weekend, but I really need to know if there is anything wrong with with the color loss in these pics (look at my extra portraits) and if there is what program should I use instead. I have Photoshop, Paint Shop, Gimp and IrfanVeiw. IrfanVeiw seems to do a very good job imho, Paint Shop's no good, and I can't find the option in Gimp and Photoshop (the help searches didn't help).

Opinions would be very appreciated.

Good luck with that. It took me ages as I edited the original huge portrait unbeknowNst gave me. (Why did I think it would be fun/easy?)
